Walked in with very little expectation as I had been given a run around by a couple of other VW dealers. I knew the car I wanted and the options but couldn't get someone to deal. Overall my wife and I were very pleased with the service we received at Dave Walter Inc. We were every inpressed while making the pruchase of our 2005 Ford Freestyle. We shopped serveral dealer in the central Ohio area, who's service and quailty of cars did not compare to what we received from Randy and the staff at Dave Walter Inc. It is a 2 hour drive 1 way from our home in central Ohio but it was worth it. The staff worked passed closing hours on Friday to have all the needed paperwork for us to complete our purchase the following Monday. The car was given a last minute detail before we took it home, nice touch. The only area that we were disappointed in was the fact that the car only had 1 set of keys. This is something my wife and I should have inquired about while we were negotiating the purchase. We had assumed 2 sets of keys were standard but found out later we were mistaken. The cost to have another set made is very expensive and we were not pleased with the added cost. But, besides that, we were pleased overall with the buying experience. More

I had been to several VW dealerships looking at the 2011 VW Touareg TDI before coming to Dave Walters VW. Enter Aaron Heinlein at Dave Walters (thanks Kirstin Fleischer for referring me to him). Finally, a salesperson who knew the vehicle!! I no longer had to train the sales staff!! Instead, Aaron went over the vehicle like a pro with no hesitation. He even showed me features I did not know about. He returned my calls and emails and remembered specifics about me and my needs for a vehicle. It is obvious he likes Volkswagens and even owns one himself. I would not hesitate to buy another VW from Aaron (specifically the Scirroco or the Micro Bus) if they would ever come out with them. I am very satisfied with my 2011 Touareg TDI. I just had my first courtesy service at the dealer sevice dept. The tech answered all my questions and even let me look under the car while on the lift. He did not try to rush my questions. I am happy to say that with 3400 miles on the vehicle, I have had zero problems with the car and would even venture to say it is one of the best cars I have ever owned. I contacted Dave Walter VW through their website with some questions about a new Volkswagen Eos. I received an extremely prompt response and after some email correspondence I set up an appointment with some questions about a new Volkswagen Eos. Aaron met with me personally and listened to everything I had to say. He answered all of my questions, addressed my concerns, and understanding that while this was my dream car, the price was slightly more than I had budgeted. Together, we found the perfect compromise, a Certified Pre-Owned Eos! Another salesperson, Kirstin Fleischer, brought the Eos to me, so I could look it over and she accompanied me on a test drive. She was very informative about the vehicle and answered all of my questions. Upon returning to the dealership I expressed interest in the finance options available to me and Kirstin immediately began the process for me. While she was providing my information to her finance manager Aaron Heinlein checked in with me to make sure I was being well taken care of by Kirstin and to ask if he could do anything additional. Then, another gentleman came over to me as well, he introduced himself as Dave Walter, welcomed me to his dealership, and asked the reason I came in. I told him I was hoping to purchase an Eos and he asked who had been helping me. After I told him, he personally told the salespeople and the finance manager he wanted to do whatever was necessary, so I could drive home today in my dream car. Everyone who helped me at Dave Walter VW went above and beyond to make me part of the family and I did get to drive home in my dream car. More

My perfect EOS was located and shipped to the dealer within a week for purchase when I arrived! Aaron and his staff made this experience such a pleasure and completely hassle free. I would recommend his services to anyone in the VW market, even if you are from out of state looking to purchase a vehicle like myself. More

Frank Waldo and the staff of Dave Walter VW were personable, friendly, polite, and prompt from the beginning to the end of our encounters in person as well as through email and telephone calls. Frank answered every question I had in detail, and not once did we feel pressured or uncomfortable. They were very accomodating (we had to bring our 1 year old son along with us, and we were offered snacks and drink while waiting, as well as a roomy waiting area)and fast. Being a first-time car buyer, the only thing I wish I had available before arriving was an itemized list of all the additional charges (Title fees, taxes, and additional dealership fees). Frank checked on that Jetta and also searched the inventory for others they may have and called me back with the bad news, all of the used TDI's were sold. Frank let me know that they had a couple of brand new left over 2010 Jetta TDI's still in stock. Over the next two days Frank and I worked out the details on my trade and the difference i pricefor brand new 2010 Jetta TDI Cup. Frank was very detailed and very helpful with anything I would ask. I made the deal over the phone, agreeing that my trade was to be what I said it was and the new car suiting us when we got there. Frank called me on the way to pick it up on Saturday morning and said he had to go to the airport and pick someone up that was flying in from New Mexico to buy a car and told me to see Mitch Ury if I got there before he returned. I was worried that Mitch probably wouldn't know what was going on with the deal, Frank had been so helpful and honest,I really wanted to deal with Frank when I got there. To my surprise I found Mitch just as accomidating as Frank had been and explained everything about our new car and took the care of our every need. Mitch had also taken the time to know everything about the deal before we got there. My only problem at this point is I know I will go back there for my next vehicle purchase, I am just torn with who I will deal with, both Frank and Mitch were the best and took that fear of buying a vehicle from such a long distance away. The deal was exactly the way they said it would be, and I got the 60 month 0% financing just as they had told me it would be, there was no disappointment at all and very worth the 4 hour trip each way to do business with them. I would highly recommend doing business with either Frank or Mitch no matter where you may live. More

WOW. Since the moment we walked in, everyone there was so professional. We fell in love with all the cars but we already knew what we wanted.
