Drove 150+ miles to buy a car after remotely discussing and negotiating with the Internet sales manager. After an agreed upon price in writing, drove 3 hours to the dealership only to be told that the pric and negotiating with the Internet sales manager. After an agreed upon price in writing, drove 3 hours to the dealership only to be told that the price could not be honored, spent a considerate amount of time negotiating again, had to settle paying $1500 more than agreed upon initially and was told that financing was mandatory, otherwise a cash deal would be $1000 more. Failed to explain until after financing was completed that the "warranty for life" requires maintenance to be done at a very specific shop that is only local to Gainesville. Tip: Get EVERYTHING in writing. Was reassured that they would send Safelite to my house to repair multiple chips in the windshield. Forgot to have them put it on paper, and it never happened despite multiple reminders and promises that it was "just forgotten". Was hoping to have a different experience that I expected, but the dealership is run just like every other one. Lots of back and forth, arguing, deception. Ensure that you know vehicles because I was also lied to where they tried to lower a trade in value stating there was damage that was not truly there (had to pull the wheel well liner apart to prove there was no damage and that their "damage" was the normal vehicle body lines.)
