AWESOME My 19yr old son went in to buy a VW and met with Nick Gerard. Nick was amazing he treated my son with dignity and respect, he wasn't pushy at all. I went in the next day to finalize the deal and everyone was easy to work with. The only thing I feel bad about was Nick was not there so he did not get full credit for the sale. When we told them that Nick said to call him even if it was his day off we were told that "it was ok this happens all the time" and Nick would get 1/2 credit. Wish we would have called Nick and given him the option to come in on his day off for full credit. More

I couldn’t ask for a better car buying experience! I hate buying cars. It’s a chore that I dread. My son totaled his car a few weeks ago, and I decided to give him my Honda and buy the Passat that I’ve I hate buying cars. It’s a chore that I dread. My son totaled his car a few weeks ago, and I decided to give him my Honda and buy the Passat that I’ve wanted for a while. Nick picked up on the fact that I viewed this as an event to be tolerated and made the experience as smooth and painless as it possibly could have been. He only showed me options within the parameters I gave him, didn’t try to upsell, and took my word that I knew what I wanted. I typically shop at the no-haggle dealerships, so I was nervous about going to a brand dealership because I find the process exhausting. At no point throughout the process did I feel pressured, and I could not be more please with my “new” Passat! Nick and Volkswagen of Gainesville exceeded my expectations and now have another loyal customer. Nathan assisted me on the phone and was lovely, Paul was very helpful in explaining the warranty, and Nick even entertained me with car tricks while I waited for the paperwork to be ready for me to sign . Best salesman EVER!!! I have purchased a few cars in my lifetime and have ALWAYS had less than perfect salesmen!! But this time I was helping my 18 year old daughter purcha I have purchased a few cars in my lifetime and have ALWAYS had less than perfect salesmen!! But this time I was helping my 18 year old daughter purchase her first new car (2015, but WAY newer to her!!)!!!! For a couple weeks I’ve talked to a handful of car salesmen and they definitely lived up to the hype about car salesmen! Then I received a message back from Anthony and everything changed!! Not only did he make haggling a price easy but also FUN!!! He had me completely sold just by his honesty and playful texting! If that wasn’t enough.....when we went last night to test drive and buy her car....he was even BETTER than expected! Even played hide and seek with my 3 1/2 year old, although Anthony did get stuck in a trunk for a couple minutes (hahahahahaha), it was lots of fun!! He went OVER and BEYOND any salesmen ever!! I think I might have to trade my Toyota in for a VW at some point, as long as he is still there!! Thank you again Anthony for all of your hard work!! More
