Great service from Dustin as always. I am less than a mile from another VW dealer in south Tampa and will make the drive to VW North Tampa because of their quality of service. The only thing I wish they would change is to either increase their prices to offset their credit card service charges or eat them & consider them part of the cost of business. Forcing your service advisers to spring that policy on people last minute is tacky at best and makes you look shady. More

Bought a car from the North Tampa location end of December. (Less than 90 days ago). Car has been driven less than 300 miles, while driving the car a couple days back the check engine light came on. I immediately called the dealership, I needed to call them anyways because they said they changed the oil upon selling me the car but days later , the vehicle said it was on 30% oil life. I called my salesperson that day but I also just had a baby born so making it back over there wasn’t in the picture immediately. Nonetheless, I take the vehicle in, they send me a video & said rodents have chewed there one of the hoses to the engine manifold. Personally knowing this vehicle has sit with the dealer from October until my purchase in December, I assume rodents chew and nested then once purchase the hose finally gave with the pressure running through it. The negligence in the oil that said “it was done” tells me there was negligence in all of service. Anyways, the advisor shows me the quote, $51 part, $350+ in labor for anticipated 1.5hr job. Miscellaneous fee of $50. ( what the heck does that even mean). I immediately called around and found multiple shops to do the job for $150 or less. I declined the services, the advisor then says well it’s $230 since I scanned it to tell you what is wrong. If you chose to get the repairs done I just get rid of that charge. Are you kidding me?? So, you charge an insane fee or labor cost then when you present absurd numbers , you force individuals into purchasing the service sense it’s going to cost over half to have nothing done other than knowing the problem. On top of this, I cordinated with the bank & the vehicle they sold me milage doesn’t match the title, & not even close, a couple thousand miles difference. I will never come back to this location nor any Volkswagen dealer for service or vehicle purchase. More
