My wife and I purchased a vehicle here for her. However in the process of determining the final out the door price there ended up being a snag in the process. The dealer knew how I went about figuring the final price not only at our first visit but over the phone a few days later. At our first visit he was right at the desk when my wife and I discussed the items we did not want and approximately what the final cost might be and what our starting point was to figure the final cost. I deducted the items that we did not want and added in all the items we were expected to pay. I went over the numbers with him over the phone step by step and it sounded like it was a go with the figures I gave him. I was conveniently not told I was figuring things from the wrong starting point. I was so sure that the numbers over the phone were good that I went out and purchased insurance for the car and we left to pick the car up. Imagine our surprise when we were told that the final price was $1,330.24 more than what I thought was agreed upon. There were a couple of chances for the dealer to let us know we had figured wrong but he never communicated that to us until it came time to pay. Had I not bought the insurance already I would have walked. I would never purchase a car here again simply because the true numbers should have been communicated to us and how to get to those numbers. We were doing the figures wrong but it would have been nice before we made our final decision if the dealer would have pointed that out. More
