We were greeted by a friendly, but not pushy, sales person. Hal Foster was both knowledgable and personable. He took his time explaining things to us and was able to answer all of our questions. When my wife and I stepped foot on the car lot we where met by Hal and Bernie, they answered all our questions and showed us EVERY vehicle we wanted to see, they both were Super knowledgable about ALL make met by Hal and Bernie, they answered all our questions and showed us EVERY vehicle we wanted to see, they both were Super knowledgable about ALL makes and Models on their lot, at No time did I ever feel pressured by either one of them, in fact we stayed on the lot until 9pm and we did not realize they closed at 7pm, never once did anyone leave or turn out any lights until after we left!!!! That really is going the Extra Mile, we did buy a Van the next day and although it was used, they Treated us as if we were buying a $100,000 dollar car, if you live in the Spartanburg Area you need to give Vic Bailey VW A chance at your business, they are Awsome and ask for Hal or Bernie. I have little time and patience for the negotiating car sale so I contacted several VW dealers via the internet. Immediately I received a reply (NOT an automated reply) addressing exactly the car and mode sale so I contacted several VW dealers via the internet. Immediately I received a reply (NOT an automated reply) addressing exactly the car and model I wanted in the exact lease scenario I requested. ALL the other dealerships sent me automated replies and nonsense about getting me into the dealer, etc. Right away I got a great price (the other dealers eventually quoted me over email up to $40 more per month for the model BENEATH what I was getting from Vic Bailey!) and so we took the 80 mile drive to their dealership - the deal was THAT GOOD! When we got there, we were pleasantly surprised to not have to go through that usual situation where they try to sell you all sorts of extra stuff you don't need. The salesmen were wonderful. They sat with us in the car to be sure we understood how to program the navigation and set up our phone. It was well worth the drive and I plan to go to them again. More
