I'll share two stories that began in the '40s and converge today. My grandfather, Sam DiFeo (pictured far left in 1948), got his start in the automotive industry by shuttling used cars from Florida to New Jersey in order to sell them. Around the same time, Volkswagen sold its first cars in the United States. They were initially called, "The Little Engine That Could," by the Wall Street Journal. They've come a long way from the two, yes two, US sales that first year. In 2012, Volkswagen increased their year-over-year volume by 31% and even reached their lofty goal of 800,000 US sales by 2018 a few years early. My "Grandpa Sam's" spirit and vision were carried on as well with my father, Joe, and his brother, Sam, by building the family business to one of the largest dealership groups in the country through the '70s, '80s, and early '90s. Currently, our family business consists of 18 dealerships across 3 states. Many of them are operated by Sam's grandchildren, including Hyundai of St. Augustine, which my brother, Andrew, opened in 2008, and of course the latest addition, Volkswagen of St. Augustine. Volkswagen of St Augustine Saint Augustine FL Andrew and I (pictured below), like our grandfather, believe that business is about building trust and relationships with our employees, our customers, and the community. It's with this core philosophy that we bring you Volkswagen of St. Augustine. After all, business truly is the engine of community, not just in the monetary sense, but because most of us spend a good part of our time working in and interacting through businesses - buying, selling, servicing, receiving service, consulting, entertaining and being entertained. So, more than anything else, we want Volkswagen of St. Augustine to strengthen the bonds and support the values that make St. Augustine/ Saint Johns County such a wonderful community in which to live, work, and grow. I can't tell you how happy I am to be here with my beautiful and supportive wife, Sway, (who by the way I met through a car sale) along with our 2-year old twins Charles and Sophia, the very first DiFeo St. Augustine natives. We're about building relationships, not transactions at Volkswagen of St. Augustine and we invite you to experience car buying and servicing the way it should be...with honesty and integrity

We had some work done of our 2015 EOS, and they always wash the car before returning it. The car wash knocked a small cover plate off the passenger side of the car. Robin was the best person to deal with. More
