I have owned a Volvo for 8 years. During that time I have had the car serviced in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Colorado. Annapolis Volvo by far has the worst customer service I have ever encountere had the car serviced in Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, and Colorado. Annapolis Volvo by far has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. My experience at Annapolis Volvo has been horrible and after more than 2 weeks, I still do not have my car back, nor do I have any idea when it will finally be fixed. Problems with my car that are not within the dealership's control, I understand. Unresponsive service members and management that only responds to a male voice? Inexcusable. I expected the service agent assigned to my car to call me with updates and yet over the past 2 weeks I have had to call him and have had no luck getting updates or an accurate estimate of when my car will be finished. It's painful. Each time I get him on the phone, his replies are iterations of "I don't know when your car will be done, let me give you call when I know."..... and then nothing, or "Maybe it will be done tomorrow." And that has yet to happen either because as of right now Annapolis is expecting a hurricane (Irene) and I will be without my car. I will also need to continue paying for a rental car since Volvo refused to provide me with a loaner. I appreciate the service team's efforts and hard work on my car, truly. But at the end of the day I would not recommend this dealership to anyone, especially a female. I regret choosing Annapolis Volvo in the first place and next time I need service, I will gladly drive further to another dealership. More
We have been dealing with Annapolis Volvo for about two and a half years. We originally turned in a lease vehicle, but due to the terrible experience we had had with the original dealer (located North of and a half years. We originally turned in a lease vehicle, but due to the terrible experience we had had with the original dealer (located North of Baltimore), we were not going to buy another Volvo. However, the staff at Annapolis Volvo changed our minds. Their customer service has been top notch from day one. Most recently, we had a fluke engine issue while on vacation 600 miles from home. The car, a certified pre-owned XC90, was stuck in Michigan. When the dealer working on the car in Michigan and Volvo On-Call proved less than responsive, we turned to Nicole who had originally sold us the car. Within two hours I had a call back from both Nicole and Robert Bath, the Service Manager at Annapolis Volvo. We had a solid date on which the car would be finished, were offered the use of a loaner car until it arrived, and were put in touch with an auto transport company that could transport the car home for us for less than the Volvo On-Call Trip Interruption insurance limit. When the car arrived, it was filthy from having come through a snow storm. Robert's team went through the repairs and tested to car to be sure everything was done correctly. They also took the time to clean it up for us! We love our Volvo and could not be any happier with the customer service. This is NOT your typical dealership. More
I live two hours South of Annapolis on the Eastern Shore. The dealer about half the distance shed the brand. My options were a good indy (Behrens in Easton) or the long drive to Annapolis. I got good the The dealer about half the distance shed the brand. My options were a good indy (Behrens in Easton) or the long drive to Annapolis. I got good the good news that in Nov 2010 they have a floating tech that operates out of a sister dealership in their chain: Salisbury Subaru. They made an appointment there that will save me a a minimum four man-hours (plus costs of mileage..) or 8+ in the event I would have had to leave my V70 there. Many thanks for the consideration of us folks who live in the weeds. Jim Cancil/Salisbury More
