I brought my new Volvo in for it's first service appointment yesterday. Based on my experience with the service departments at other dealers, I assumed it was going to be a long and expensive mornin appointment yesterday. Based on my experience with the service departments at other dealers, I assumed it was going to be a long and expensive morning. I was pleasantly surprised when Luis told me to expect to be there about an hour and a half. After an hour and 15 minutes, he told me the car was done! I was shocked! I was even more shocked when he went over my invoice and I owed nothing. I've never walked out of any service department without paying a big bill. I LOVE Volvo of Annapolis!!!! More

Update 12/04/2020: I received an email from DealerRater stating that Volvo Cars Annapolis responded to my review and if I didn't respond back, my review would not be posted. I responded immediately but yet stating that Volvo Cars Annapolis responded to my review and if I didn't respond back, my review would not be posted. I responded immediately but yet have not received what was agreed to. I've been bringing my 2015 V60 to Annapolis Volvo for the last four years. Admittedly, I've never felt welcomed at this dealership but it the most convenient. I also feel their charges are very high. However, during my last visit this week I really felt they overcharged me. I was getting a 80K service that I scheduled online. The charge of $649 was listed on the website when I scheduled the service. When I brought my car into the shop the service rep told me it was going to cost $799. I told her that wasn't what was listed on the website. She was adamant that it was $799. I asked her if I could apply an expired 10% service coupon and she vibrantly said "yes, we can still use it". While waiting, I went through the steps of scheduling service and saw where it stated that the service was $649. She took a photo of what I showed her and said she needed to show it to her manager. When the work was complete and bill shared, they did honor the $649, as stated on their website, HOWEVER, they no longer honored the coupon because the manager said "they already discounted $150 and couldn't apply the 10% discount...and it was expired". Now all of the sudden they're offering me a "discount of $150" when their website stated that was the price. I didn't make it up. Also, now the coupon is no longer valid. I looked on their website a few days later and now the 80K service is $749...$50 less than their originally quoted. More

Overall great service, but we are concerned now since this is the second issue with a relatively new car (Dec2020). Also, while I know COVID may be the reason, but there was no loaner car or ride serv this is the second issue with a relatively new car (Dec2020). Also, while I know COVID may be the reason, but there was no loaner car or ride service available or offered, which was very problematic for us needing to get to a medical appointment, and then needing a ride to get to the dealer after the vehicle problem was resolved. More
