I bought my Volvo from a private seller. When I went to Bridgewater it was discovered that the car fax was poor, and appropriately caused the dealer to decline a trade in. I had been at another local dealership in summit, NJ, before going to Bridgewater Volvo. The salesman there, Chris, was more interested in his holiday plans and talking about fishing than in doing busin before going to Bridgewater Volvo. He could have ended the month with another sale and started his holiday the same way. However, to be fair, I should tell you I arrived at the dealer 30 minutes before closing (I didn't know they closed at 5p on Sat.) but I already knew what I wanted and was ready to buy in cash; I just needed him to make it happen. He told me I could come back on Thursday and he would help me then. On Monday, I met Steve at Bridgewater Volvo and he was great; honest and straight forward. I think I got an excellent price! Although I knew what I wanted, Steve took the time to work with me. He was clearly interested in building a relationship that would result in a happy, loyal, returning customer, rather than just selling a car! Everybody worked to make me happy, and I am happy, I'm delighted in fact. I love my new car and still feel I made the right choice in buy at Bridgewater Volvo. More

My Father told me to give Ralph a call, and he was superb as he's always been with us. Within 15 minutes Ralph found me a nice Volvo V50 which totally fit my needs. We put a credit app through and the next day everything was finalized . I'm very happy with Ralph and how quickly I was able to get this transcation done and be on my way with my new Volvo V50. The staff at Bridgewater Volvo were very kind and helpful. I purchased a 2010 xc 90 the price was fair and the staff was great.
