Excellent Service Went there for a 50,000-mile checkup, (and was given a loaner) and they discovered a cracked boot on an axle of my C30. Excellent Service Manager I brought my Volvo in for a 30000 mile service. Volvo of Danbury is a little out of the way and there is another Volvo dealership which is closer. Melanie Sullivan the Service Manager is quietly professional which is the highest compliment I can give anyone. She is so good in fact that I wish all other dealerships used her as the ideal. She may have to be promoted to run the whole organization. I write this fully acknowledging that I'm a tough critic, devoid of patience, intolerant of noise. My 2 hours at Volvo were painless. The atmosphere and the comfort of the furniture were excellent. The background TV a bit loud. More

Promised it could be done in time to take on vacation AS LONG AS THEY My new 2017 XC 90 was hit by a deer, it was brought to a local shop in Newtown. Promised it could be done in time to take on vacation AS LONG AS THEY COULD GET THE PARTS IN. Body shop explained how bad they kept getting the wrong parts and was amazed at the inefficiency. I happened to go in the day before my vacation to pick up parts for my C70 and expressed to women in charge of service department how annoyed I was over the parts screw up and now had to spend $1600 for week SUV rental and would never bring my car here for service...what was her answer?...don't hold the service dept. Responsible for parts dept. problem against them...excuse me but aren't the two related. I was annoyed but at NO time used bad language...a comment that did pop out of her mouth..."maybe I should go to church". Needless to say, I won't say another word....point made. More
