Anthony, the service director told me " you worry about your kids pick up and we will worry about your car". They were super flexible! And I was able to return the loaner at my convenience. More

We met her when we started looking for a certified pre-owned Volvo back in October and shared with herl what we were looking for. She is incredibly knowledgable about Volvos and clearly loves these cars. Although none of the models we were interested in (Low mileage S60s) appeared, she noticed me eyeing a new Mussel Blue S60. She explained that we would be unlikely to find one pre-owned as the color had just come out this year. As we waited to see whether any pre-owned models came in, she introduced the idea that we could consider a new one. Ultimately, that's what we decided on, as I really liked the car. On one occasion when Mabel was with another customer, Gabe explained the difference between the Inscription and Dynamic S60s and why only the Inscription model came in that color. They were very customer friendly and we never felt pressured. When we discussed other cars we were considering, they were not at all disparaging of other cars. They simply talked up the advantages of the Volvo. The pick-up (paperwork) day could have been a little more organized, but everyone was very pleasant and patiently explained certain dealer recommendations. Mabel took time to thoroughly explain the new features of the car and its operations. More

I live in Middletown therefore going to Danbury is completely out of my way but since I had a terrible experience with Gengras Volvo and will NEVER go back there I decided to give Danbury Volvo a shot. The moment I got there they greeted me with a smile and let me know everything they were going to do. When they were finished they called me and when I arrived to pick up my car it was cleaned and ready to go. They once again explained everything that they completed. Melanie was awesome and I can say this with certainty because I am in the business and I know the difference between good service and bad and their service was TREMENDOUS. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for service. It may be out of the way but sometimes great service may not be convenient but it was always be great and that is what Volvo of Danbury is. More
We're finicky customers- Mabel and Gabe were the best! My wife and I were looking to purchase a used CPO Volvo sedan over the past months. We were upfront with dealers with what we were looking for and checking the condition of the cars. We wanted a car that was clean, well maintained, no accidents, as few dents and scratches as possible, and no paintwork. Given that we were driving some hours, we needed a Volvo dealer that had good honesty, integrity and attention to detail…to give us an honest assessment of a car before we made the time commitment to drive. We had two failed lengthy trips and terrible experiences at Volvo dealers in southern New Hampshire and eastern New York. In these cases, the cars were not represented honestly where in one case the car had extensive paintwork which – checking with Volvo corporate – dealers can pretty much do whatever they want as long as the Carfax shows no accidents. In the other case, we had walk arounds by two salespeople and several large/obvious 3-4” scratches/dents were not disclosed, never mind total lack of detailing prep. We were growing tired and skeptical to say the least. The situation turned very positive with our last experience with finding Danbury Volvo and the saleswoman Mabel Peralta and sales manager Gabe Levy. We were upfront about our past experiences and asked for accurate reporting of the condition, which is exactly what was provided. The team provided a walk-around video for us to review in addition to detailed pictures of any dents, scratches or imperfections. Gabe also gave a very detailed and honest understanding of what specific work was done on the car. We were very pleased that upon delivery there were NO unexpected surprises and the car was very well prepared. It is very hard to find these qualities even with brand dealers these days. The car passed our independent shop’s inspection after purchase and matching our expectations. The team even took extra steps to help us with some delivery logistics. Mabel was very helpful and pleasant to engage while Gabe was very professional and businesslike. Quite honestly, this professionalism was exactly what we needed as our previous interactions with sales managers felt disreputable, shady and pressured. We are detailed and finicky customers but we would absolutely reach out to purchase our next cars from Mabel and Gabe again given their attention detail and integrity through our car buying experience. We hadn't yet used the m The dealership was decent during the sales process. I bought a 2013 S60, and was sold a $3400 prepaid maintenance package. We hadn't yet used the maintenance plan, when just 6 months later, my car was involved in an accident and declared a total loss. I contacted the dealership and requested they process a refund of the prepaid maintenance package, and I expressed interest in purchasing another car from them. To date, I still haven't been contacted by a salesperson, which mystifies me. It took 4 weeks for them to tell me that I would receive a refund, but that it would be $1200 less than the original purchase package $3400 price tag. Buyer beware! It has taken a total of 11 weeks of many many phone calls and emails, and involvement of Volvo's customer care team, to receive my refund. Not a bad place to purchase, but just be aware that post-sale support does not seem to be a priority for this dealership. More
