I dropped my car off for service on 7/16/25 and was promised an update the same day—no one followed up. When I questioned the delay, the service advisor, Justin Storr, snapped at me and said “Don’t you think we’re frustrated too?” After being ignored again, I drove to the dealership and found my car untouched in the back lot. I spoke to GM Andreas, who apologized and promised a follow-up. I texted him twice—again, no response. When we returned to the dealership later, we were told the car was “fixed,” only to be told the next morning that the real issue was the turbo (just like my non-Volvo mechanic said from the beginning). Justin then claimed the warranty had expired 10 days ago and became combative, blaming me for “neglecting” the car. For the record, I maintain my vehicle—I just stopped going to Lisle because of repeated poor service. I keep the reciepts in the glovebox. This service advisor made no effort to communicate, showed zero professionalism, and disrespected both me and my husband. I ended up going to McGrath Volvo in Barrington, where Mark Kuzniar had the car diagnosed, the part ordered, and a loaner ready within 90 minutes. That’s what real service looks like. Avoid Lisle. Go to Barrington. More
