Purchased a car from Chris via phone as I was not in state. Because the vehicle was certified and after talking with Chris, I was confident that I was buying a great vehicle. I received the vehicle from the shipper yesterday and when I started it up, the check engine light was on. Very disappointed that I was sold a vehicle with a check engine light on. I took it to my nearby Volvo dealer today and they told me it was the evap purge valve. It was a simple fix but I’m still perplexed at the fact they sold a vehicle to me with the check engine light on. When I talked to Chris he told me, it is a used vehicle so I should expect these types of issues. Although he is correct, should I really expect a check engine light right off the truck, before I even had a chance to drive the car? Disappointing. More
