Service department is top notch! Everytime I have my XC90 serviced, from oil changes to any repair work, the service department staff is always friendly, professional and knowledgable. Service work is done in an expeditious manner and your in and out in a reasonable amount of time. We all hope our cars run well for us all the time, and I'm sure most of us find it less than enjoyable to take our vehicles in for repairs. With that said... I've pretty much been a Chevy guy for most of my life (I still own a Tahoe). Most (not all) of the Chevy dealerships I've worked with in the past have been sub par at best. One in particular was miserable... I'll get to that in a moment... My XC90 (purchased in 2010) is my first Volvo and so far the experiment with this has been mostly positive... enhanced by the excellent service team at Volvo of Lisle. Initially... I purchased this vehicle (used) at Dan Wolf Chevrolet in Naperville. The lady sales person was nice but not the most knowledgable individual about cars. During the test drive I noticed the vehicle "missed" under acceleration. The "stutter" wasn't severe, but was definately noticable. She couldn't feel it.... however, everything else about the vehicle I loved and she assured me that they would take care of the problem.... When I picked up the vehicle it still hesitated under acceleration. Nothing had been fixed. I pointed this out to her and she told me that "service" could not find anything wrong with the car... insinuating that I was imagining this. I fussed and fummed a bit but took it home. I drove it that way for a few days... brought it back fussed and fumed a bit more... and they sent it back to service... in fact I actually went for a drive with a "techician" and he had difficulty "detecting" the problem as well. Finally got a call from the "service manager" the next day who told me that this problem was inherent in this particular vehicles design and there was nothing they could do about it..... I fused and fummed a little stonger this time, and went to the Sales Manager who finally sent the vehicle to Volvo of Lisle. Interestingly enough they diagnosed the problem immediately. The vehicle is equiped with twin turbos... and one of the turbos was malfuctioning and needed to be replaced. After that repair was made, the vehicle ran like a top!!! The grief I endured for about a week (including two rental cars at my cost) was not what I expected from a dealership like Dan Wolf Chevolet. Most of the staff I dealt with there acted like I was imagining the problem.... especially the service department manager. Kudos to Volvo of Lisle and shame on Dan Wolf Chevrolet. If I do buy another Chevy... it won't be from Dan Wolf. I've been deaing with Volvo of Lisle now ever since and as I said... the team there is top notch! I'd recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or used Volvo. More
Since my first visit (October 1974) to Lisle Volvo, and communication with Heinz, Ziggy, and Joe it has been a pleasant experience. In addition to having a scheduled oil change I was having trouble synching my phone and getting Nav to come through the speakers. Kelsey got my phone to synch. The team did come up with a viable solution (and a very thrifty one at that) to solve my Nav problem. They went above and beyond to solve this problem. More
Purchased a CPO Volvo there several weeks ago. After getting the car home, had service light come on the very next day. Also discovered some flaws in the driver's side mirror casing. Took the car in today and the problem with the anti-skid light was fixed. Sales manager had agreed to fix the mirror problem at no charge, once the part came in. Service technicians were efficient, friendly, patient, and thorough. The sales person I bought the car through was very friendly and patient with me. I would not hesitate to buy another car there again. More

Once again, John and the service techs have done an outstanding job with my 2000 V40. It is approaching 150K, and still rides smooth, beats most cars "off the line", and rounds a corner like a sports outstanding job with my 2000 V40.
