I negotiated the sales price online. The person I did that with, the sales manager, was very efficient and responsive. The process was easy.. At the dealer to finalize the sale, our sales person, Connie Mickens, was terrific. Very friendly and informative. We did have a significant problem with the finance person, Mark Anthony. Although friendly, he quoted us the wrong interest rate. We did the contract based on that and took possession of the car. Turns out, Honda Finance rejected the contract saying Mark offered us a 0.25% rate reduction for which we were not eligible. He called the next day and said we had to return to resign corrected paperwork with the higher rate. We live a long way from the dealer. I told him that was his and the dealer’s mistake and they had to live up to the offer. He talked to a manager and said that was not possible. We had to return to sign a contract with the new rate. A huge inconvenience. I was not happy. The dealer should have eaten the mistake. They should have reduced the sales price to keep our monthly payment what they offered, at the Honda Finance allowed interest rate. More
