Sales associate Andrew Horne was very impressive in his manner of establishing rapport and a relationship of how can I help you. He was very efficient and responsive to my questions and concerns as this purchase was a result of my last vehicle being totaled in a collision. The first vehicle he showed me, allowed me and my wife to test drive was the only one I experienced and the one I purchased. He had listened to me and matched all of my requirements with this first one. His manager Mr. Hollis Batts was also quick to assist him in any way needed to support me in making my decision. So far I could not have had an easier time in this experience. I look forward continuing the relationship. Very Well done Waldorf Toyota, Andrew Horne and Mr Hollis Batts. Thank you also Allen Walker, General Sales Manager for your email message and your leadership shadow evident in your staff. More

Mark Stancell was a joy to work with, he is my new best-est good-est friend......smile Often times you think sales men are shady and will say anythin Mark Stancell was a joy to work with, he is my new best-est good-est friend......smile Often times you think sales men are shady and will say anything to get that sale, not Mark, he listens to you and works hard to get you want you want/need. Mark and I talked on the phone/email/and text-ed about finances and the car I needed until I came in for my test drive. Mark was very patient with me and was never pushy. Thanks. Mike in finance, Mark Stancell, and Mike Clements worked hard to get me in a car that fitted my needs. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car. A special shout out to Randy Flowers for being kind and tolerable of my family. More
Smith, Riddick, and Diehl....Simply the Best!!! I recently purchased a new 2014 Avalon from Toyota of Waldorf. This marks my fourth major purchase from this dealership since 1985, but my third since 2003. The quality of sales experience and the quality of the purchased vehicles are my primary reason for returning to this dealership. My recent history with this dealership started in December 2003 with the purchase of a used Avalon from Mr. Will Riddick. He was reasonably accommodating and extended himself to structure a deal that worked for both my wife and the dealership. This very positive experience led me to seek him out in December of 2012 in an attempt to purchase a replacement Avalon. By this time, he had been promoted sales manager, but he handed me off to the very able and knowledgeable Brian Smith. I was extremely impressed with Mr. Smith's detailed knowledge of the features of the range of vehicles Toyota offers. Try as we might, we were not able to work out the numbers for the Avalon re-purchase, however, we settled on a 2012 Camry. Mr. Smith patiently and competently customized our vehicle with all the requisite pre-sets which allowed us to drive away from the dealership in complete comfort. At this time, I was introduced to Mr. Donald Diehl who handled the financing aspect of the deal (pun intended). He, too, was very knowledgeable, and I left with the feeling that he did his very best to find me the best financing package at this disposal. Fast-forward 18 months and my financial situation had improved sufficiently to re-visit Toyota of Waldorf to upgrade my 2012 purchase with a 2014 Avalon. Without hesitation, I sought out Mrs. Smith and Riddick, confident that a favorable deal could be quickly worked out. They did not disappoint. Mr. Riddick was able to structure a deal that met my financial requirements, and Mr. Smith was his usual professionally competent self. And Mr. Diehl came through for me again. Not only did he remember me from our previous encounter, but he exceeded my expectations by finding a financing option with an interest rate that was substantially lower than what I had expected. My wife and I are very comfortable doing business with Toyota of Waldorf because of the overall customer service experience. We get the impression that they really appreciate our business because of the way we are treated. Past experiences notwithstanding, their approach is professional, yet friendly. In other words, they do not take doing business with us for granted, and for that we are very appreciative. We are getting up in age, so I cannot speculate on whether or not any future major car purchases remain for us. If a new car is in the offing, however, this dealership and these three gentlemen will be our first stop. I highly recommend this dealership, and these three gentlemen in particular, to anyone who seeks an outstanding sales experience for a high quality automobile. Frederick C. Hutchinson More

Dealership Tries to Charge Overhead Fees to Customer I must say, my experience at the dealership (Toyota of Waldorf MD) was like a rollercoaster ride (up & down). On May 26, 2014, the Sales Consultant and Sales Manager (Andrew & Will) provided excellent customer service. I was looking for a 2014 Toyota Prius, they searched and found the car. He called me several times with status updates until it was on their lot. My experience with the Financial Service Manager (Josh) was a different story. I told him, I wanted to pay by credit card and transfer my tags from another car. Once I reviewed the sales invoice, I noticed he tried to charge me unnecessary fees (temporary tags, lien fee and a tire recycling fee). When I questioned these charges, he deducted two of the three (temporary tags and lien fee) . On May 30, I went to pick up and pay for the car. The dealership refused to let me charge the total purchase price on my credit card. I told the Financial Service Manager, the credit card company said I COULD USE my credit card to purchase a car. He gave me several reasons why I could NOT pay by credit card in which two of the reasons were false (he stated, Maryland law does not allow a buyer to charge the total purchase price for a car & the credit card company only let a buyer charge $3,000). When I asked to see this in writing he left the office, came back and told me it was the dealership's policy. He said the credit card company charges the dealership a fee and if I wanted the car, I must split the difference. This would add $400 to my purchase price. I was shocked and disappointed and asked why the dealership would try to pass off their administrative/overhead fee to a customer. I refused to pay the $400, they removed my tags from the new car and said good night. I left the dealership stressed, with a headache and in tears. I had a restless night. The Sales Consultant called me the following day (May 31) to apologize and said the dealership will ALLOW ME TO PAY BY CREDIT CARD. I returned to pick up the car but was so uncomfortable and wanted to hurry to get the transaction completed. I left without purchasing the extended warranty. I would like the dealership to give me the extended warranty free of charge for my inconvenience. More
