After having numerous phone discussions with Patrick while shopping other nearby dealers, I decided to go ahead and drive to Waldorf to save >$2k on the purchase. I was not disappointed! Unlike other dealers selling this vehicle, the price we discussed on the phone was the price I paid, and there were no surprises or the usual dealer games. Brian Smith is the best salesman I have ever worked with. I am a detail oriented and well-researched consumer who hates the car buying process. However, working with Brian Smith at Toyota of Waldorf was undoubtedly the best car buying experience I've had. My wife and I were looking for a vehicle our growing family could use for the next 8-10 years, and were very thurough in our shopping process. Unlike nearly every other dealership/salesman in the area, Brian was extermenly patient with us, very knowledgable about every model we looked at, and very professional throughout the entire process. Even when we took our time making a decision, he was very polite and respectful by not pressuring us and kept in contact in a reasonable fasion (once/week through email, instead of daily calls like many other dealerships). After deciding on a vehicle, I determined a fair target price using Kelly Blue Book, USAA, and Consumer Reports websites. Brian knew I had done my homework, and our negotiation was painless. We quickly settled on a fair price below retail value with nearly zero negotiation and absolutely NO HAGLING. We had a slight hiccup receiving the car we wanted (due to a miscommunication with another regional dealership) which was not Brian's fault. He handled the issue very well, and made sure we got the exact car we wanted. He even offered to buy us a tank of gas to compensate for our extra time/travel from Leonardtown. I will be referring all my friends in SOMD to Brian because he truly breaks the stereotype of high-pressure car sales. Awesome! I loved my 2011 FJ Cruiser, but felt I needed a new one as this is the last year they are making this vehicle. I went to Toyota of Waldorf, and Bob Bo I loved my 2011 FJ Cruiser, but felt I needed a new one as this is the last year they are making this vehicle. I went to Toyota of Waldorf, and Bob Bowman once again was able to get me the vehicle I wanted, at the fair price I wanted. Mr. Bowman always makes the purchase process smooth, painless, and pleasant. I would recommend this dealership, and Mr. Bowman to anyone who is interested in buying a new car. They also do an amazing job in taking care of all your car needs after the purchase is completed. Their service department is also outstanding.
