Mr. Morgan, Because your review misrepresents the facts of your purchase with us back in 2022 and the interactions that we recently had when you brought up your concerns over the last few weeks, a factual response is required. There are timestamps that paint a different picture than the one you have laid out. We picked you up from your house at 4:05 pm, and you arrived at or around 4:30 pm. When you arrived at the dealership, we were prepared for your visit. From 4:42 pm to 6:22 pm, you were shopping for the best insurance. We needed this before we could proceed with completing the paperwork. I only bring this up because you mentioned you were forced to sit in a room for hours with no explanation. Once you acquired insurance, you completed the purchase and were dropped off at your house by your Sales Consultant by 8:15 pm. You weren’t held here in the middle of the night. All protection products are optional at Waldorf Toyota. We cannot and do not force anyone to purchase protections. With this being said, it is our obligation that we offer them to 100% of our customers 100% of the time. As I explained on the phone, if we didn’t disclose your options to you and have you sign off on either declining or accepting them, we would open ourselves up to liability if something were to happen to your vehicle. Please do not take my decision not to fully comply with your demands for a full refund as a sign that I do not care, because this is not the case. It’s just that after reviewing all of the facts, a full refund almost 3 years into your purchase is outside of the reasonable resolutions in this case. Your protections are cancellable at any time during the ownership of your vehicle, and you will receive a prorated refund based on the date and current mileage at the time of this request. Let's start here I guess. offering them to 100% of your customers 100% of the time isn't the same thing as offering me them after I already declined multiple times. I said I didn't want them. I was very clear about it. You pressed on it anyway, and the final time happened to be when I was much easier to confuse due to disability and medication side effects and at night. I came in under the impression I would be signing and leaving. I wasn't told in advance that more of anything would be tacked on. I would have declined then like I did every other time it came up. I didn't want it. Period. I'm not a difficult or dishonest person, though I admit I was pissed last time we spoke because of how long this has been an ongoing problem. And like I told you on the phone, when I actually would have been fine with the job you guys did on me, I brought my car in for service, scheduled an appointment there, and then when I actually came in I was told repeatedly that all of my warranties were expired and that I would have to pay extra for anything to be done or even checked. I didn't ask just once, I asked at least two different people and multiple times. That is untrue, and you confirmed it. So what are you charging me for if everything is somehow expired and I don't have anything? I can't trust anything you all tell me at this point. Every time I talk to someone there I'm treated like a moron and someone tries to sell me something. From my position, you guys want me to accept you half-way fixing the problem because that's your policy? Why would I accept that? Literally who would accept that? I haven't actually gained anything at all from this arrangement, and it certainly doesn't undo the financial harm. I would have gone for the refund earlier, but I was trying to regain my ability to move. That's why there was a delay, in case nobody told you. In fact, my condition was a major reason why I didn't want anything extra, because I wasn't confident I could follow up on things like this. I did everything I could to advocate for myself and be upfront and honest, and it was taken advantage of. Normally I'm much much easier to work with, but every single time I tried to get this resolved politely someone at your dealership either lied to me or ignored me. Someone even lied to me about being you for some reason? Why? I called in multiple times and got ignored, lied to, bounced, etc. The only thing I can take this as is a sign that you do not care, because your employees have mistreated me very deliberately multiple times. This refund would do nothing to you financially, you have the ability to just fix this. You wouldn't even be taking a loss since I was charged way above sticker price for the xxxx vehicle to begin with. This is just cruel at this point, it's exhausting. I didn't misrepresent anything, you guys treated me like garbage. It feels like any arbitrary reason to let the mistreatment stand is enough reason to you, hence my warning.
