2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD OFF ROAD 0 miles $50,000 truck smells burnt during the first test drive Sales Manager says it’s normal. 4,000 miles later the clutch goes out. Waldorf Toyota refuses to fix it and smells burnt during the first test drive Sales Manager says it’s normal. 4,000 miles later the clutch goes out. Waldorf Toyota refuses to fix it and wants $3,100 out of pocket. We then hired an attorney to explore our options on why it’s not covered by warranty being that it is a 2020 vehicle. We then get a call from Thomas Kody the General Manager ( who’s dad also owns the delearship he is working for 😂 ) and he states if we don’t get our truck off of HIS lot by tomorrow then he will call Toyota financial services and have it repossessed himself under our behalf and once I told him he can’t repossess the vehicle that’s not in his name he simply told me “WATCH ME” We then come up to TOYOTA of Waldorf and go to service to buy parts for the Truck to get it fixed and Thomas Kody refused to do the services. So we bought the parts from Waldorf Toyota and said we would take it to Bayside Toyota who was great and said they would do it. The GM from Waldorf Toyota then emailed over to Bayside and told them to not do our services so now we are going to another Toyota instead further away and out of our everyday drive. After seeing this Waldorf Toyota is not managed by someone who has customer service skills nor any common sense on what it is to be a General Manager. Never again will we ever be going to buy another Toyota vehicle. More

Second time getting a car from Matt Gill, whom is always a pleasure to talk to and work with. He is truly welcoming, frienfly and helpful. Willing to answer all questions and patient as I was going back and a pleasure to talk to and work with. He is truly welcoming, frienfly and helpful. Treated Terrible / Dishonest I have some friends that were traveling and wanted me to handle the specifics for them buying a new vehicle as they were going to be living in Maryla I have some friends that were traveling and wanted me to handle the specifics for them buying a new vehicle as they were going to be living in Maryland and so I contacted many dealerships and spoke to many GM and explained that my friends were on there way back to the states and would be back the end of May as they are sailing from the Caribbean's and they have very minimal time they can talk on the phone or email me but if your willing to work with me I can get you a deposit on the vehicle to secure it and Thomas Kody the GM agreed 100% that if we got a deposit and my friends would be there by the end of May to take delivery everything would be fine so my people during one of their stops gave the dealerships a $1000.00 deposit and we were all good. Well that all changed when I received a call from the sales person saying my GM is not willing to hold the vehicle anymore as we are getting low on inventory and with the Covid-19 the Toyota plant are shut down and are not making any vehicles. I immediately called the dealership and spoke with the sales person and said wait a second Thomas Kody and I made a deal over the phone and you called my people a few weeks ago and got all the information you needed over the phone accompanied by $1000 deposit to hold the vehicle with the understanding that they would take delivery by the end of May which they are going to The sales person said he understood he was sorry for this but Thomas Kody said that there was no way that this was gonna happen and that he would have Thomas call me that happened and Thomas and I were having a conversation pretty much one-sided where Thomas said I don’t care what I’ve said I don’t care what you think I am not keeping this vehicle another day for them unless they’re willing to do the paperwork now over the phone or something and I said to him look there’s no way that they can do this they’re traveling in a boat you know this because I told you this yet now you’re telling me you’re going to backpedal on a deal and pretty much the truth came out that their inventory was getting low and he said to me I am selling these for full price and not discounting these A single cent so therefore your customers are holding me up from the sale that I can make the full price on where I was I gave you almost $3400 discount so I said to him so it makes a difference a discount you making a sale that gives you all the gross profit even though you’ve made a deal with me and you have $1000 deposit holding the vehicle and we have a deal in place he said I don’t care whatever if you don’t get in touch with your people I’m just letting you know I’m gonna sell this car. Long story short I have to try and get in touch with my friends as they were trying to navigate through bad weather but after multiple days they had emailed me and I shared with them what was going on and they said they were not either and so one of them contacted the dealership quite upset once they went into a port for the night and basically argued with this Thomas Kody but her made them wire the money even though he made a deal with them, More

Very surprised l purchased my Toyota in Waldorf . I been taking it for the last 8 years. Lately realized there a rip off . Telling me l need brakes and other unnecessary services to make money.SMH . Our first visit was last fall, my 18 year old son got a great deal and purchased his first car, 2018 Toyota Camry. At the end of the sale I mentioned I wanted a convertible for my birthday and I would be back. I communicated with Lenyk Wednesday, I told her exactly what I was looking for.
