We were very impressed with the speed of response from the sales person, her dedication (she came in on a day off to make sure our car was washed and ready), her top of the line followup on every detail t the sales person, her dedication (she came in on a day off to make sure our car was washed and ready), her top of the line followup on every detail to make sure she understood what we needed, etc. We even had a full tank of fuel! This was an on-line experience, since we live in Alaska, everything was ready for us when we landed in Seattle, and the paper work was done in 45 minutes. Great job, close to airport, friendly staff and convenient! We highly recommend Alix to any new car buyer, she did an outstanding job. More
Alden Andrews was wonderful to work with! He greeted us with a smile and was very pleasant to work with. UPDATE: After several phone calls and emails to the UPDATE: After several phone calls and emails to the dealer's GM, I got a call from the salesperson and he told me that they will go ahead and switch UPDATE: After several phone calls and emails to the dealer's GM, I got a call from the salesperson and he told me that they will go ahead and switch out the wheels but I have to pay to do the swap. We went to Discount Tires coz I get free rotation there. I give Roman the salesperson that I dealt with initially credit for coming thru and doing the right thing. I'm still not pleased with the sales manager Chris Larson. What a douche. ********************************************************************************* I went in to Renton Subaru used car lot and found a car that I want to get on Friday, August 13, 2010. I told them during our initial conversation that I will be trading in my Audi A4 but the wheels that are currently in my A4 will not be included with the car and that I will be bringing the stock wheels with newer tires on them once we make a deal. I also noticed that the trim to the front fender is coming off on the car that i wanted to purchase and the sales rep and sales manager said that they will take care of it. After 3 hours of trying to make a deal, we finally agreed on a deal and then was taken to another facility to do the paperwork. At that time I reiterated to the sales person that the trim needs to be taken care of and we have to swap the wheels on my car. The salesperson said we will do it Monday. He told me to come in on Monday and that the trim will be fixed on my new car and we can also swap out the rims on my old car. I got to the dealership on Monday morning and the sales rep told me that he has to wait for a manager to approve it. He also said that he needs to make sure that financing has gone through before we can do anything. I waited there for another hour before a manager came in. Then I was told that switching out the wheels on my old car was not part of the deal. The manager then told me that I need to have everything in writing. The original sales rep was not there and I had to call him to have him call his manager to tell him what the deal was. Even after talking to his sales rep the manager still insist that it has to be in writing. I spoke with the rep over the phone and now he changed his story saying that when we made the deal, they never mentioned anything about swapping wheels, when all of Friday night they told me to come in Monday so we can take care of it. After going back and forth with the manager and sales rep, i finally gave up and said that I will take care of this another way. Had the sales rep not tell me to come in on Monday to take care of the trim and swap out the wheels I wouldn't have even bothered. But the sales person and the manager promised me something trying to make a deal but once we've signed papers they are now singing a different tune. I guess you really cannot trust a used car salesman. More
This place is the reason why dealers have a bad reputation. I was told by Gary and Roman that I had three days to return the vehicle if I wasn't completely satisfied with the car. Stupid me, I didn reputation. I was told by Gary and Roman that I had three days to return the vehicle if I wasn't completely satisfied with the car. Stupid me, I didn't read all the paperwork and I did sign the contract that stipulates that there is no 3-day grace period. I called both Roman and the used car salesman and it was amazing. It was as if you pushed a button and both of them gave a very robotic and well-rehearsed response about how in the automotive industry, it violates state and blah blah blah. I could use envision they practicing their little response in the mirror. If they were the last car dealer on earth, I still wouldn't go to them. If they were on fire, I still wouldn't piss on them. I've never wished bad things on others but I would for these people. More
I was shopping online for a very specific vehicle (Used kia rondo with 3rd row seat around 10k) and found it at walkers renton subaru, over 1300 miles away. My husband and I were hesitent to purchase a ca kia rondo with 3rd row seat around 10k) and found it at walkers renton subaru, over 1300 miles away. My husband and I were hesitent to purchase a car without inspecting it first, but decided to take a chance as it was what I was looking for down to the color, and we were not finding one with the 3rd row seat closer to home. We did the typical dealing over the phone, which is never pleasant, but to be expected. We planned to finance the entire cost of the car, and they agreed to take a deposit (to hold the car while the paperwork was pending) on our credit card and return it after the sale was finalized... This made me nervous, but again, we decided to take a chance because, at worst we'd just have that $1000 on our card instead of the car loan. They handled delivering the car at a reasonable price, as promised, and returned my deposit without incodent. If you aren't aware of the typical sales tactics (they ARE making money on the deal, or they won't make it. I don't know if people really believe it when thier salesman says "we're losing money on this deal already") this may not be the place to shop. But we went in knowing what we wanted and what we'd pay for it. so the fast talking wasn't a problem. I love the car! it was actually BETTER than advertised because they had the windows tinted! More
Stay away from this dealership. My story of utter hell with my used car is very long. I beg for a week to take my car back after buying it. Vital engine and safety components where missing from my car. Th with my used car is very long. I beg for a week to take my car back after buying it. Vital engine and safety components where missing from my car. They have broken several state laws including emissions laws, Dealer Licensing Regulations, WA Implied Warranty of Merchantability on used cars. In the 15 months I've owned the car it has sat in their shop for 3 months due to repairs. List of missing parts at the time of purchase: Middle seat belt, Parts for the air intake, Mass Air flow Senor, Heat Shield, hood prop, grommets for the hood. Bad parts at the time of purchase: Clutch, 1 and 2 Gear syncos, piston rings, turbo, 02 senors. The driver’s side fog light, parking light and turn single where burnt out. I also discovered my front bumper was being held together by duck tape, bondo and screws. They have worked with me on some of the issues but it took me two months of complaining to get there but according to the law they should have never been able to sell me the car in the condition it was in and they are responsible for the repairs of all major problems including safety issues. While it took a while longer than I would have liked, the experience was pleasant afer we got in the door. Our sales rep seemed genuinely interested in what was the best fit for our needs and privided just experience was pleasant afer we got in the door. After reading the reviews on this site I was very skeptical about purchasing at this dealership, but they had the car I wanted so I checked them out. Glad I did! I had done my homework on the vehicle skeptical about purchasing at this dealership, but they had the car I wanted so I checked them out. Glad I did! I had done my homework on the vehicle, and I knew what to expect as far as price and the options/features. So when our salesman, Mr. Ha Lee, took us for a test drive of our eventual new Subaru Forester, I simply confirmed with him everything I had read about the car. Ha, our salesman, actually pointed out more interesting things about the vehicle that I did not know, and was honest about options that he did not feel were worth paying for (like the factory rack crossbars). When it came to price, I told him that I will pay below true market value (TMV, see edmunds.com). They did not even blink! I got the price that I determined (below dealer invoice), and I got fair value on a blind trade in! I thought this was an excellent deal for a great car. Love the Subaru so far, but that is easy to predict. I would highly recommend this dealership, and especially our salesman Ha Lee. More
After 6 hours of haggling with them I finally got a decent figure on a trade in. I signed all the paper work and a week later I got a call. They claimed they could not find financing through 15 of the decent figure on a trade in. I signed all the paper work and a week later I got a call. They claimed they could not find financing through 15 of the banks they use. They claimed that my car needed $6k worth of fixing...my car runs fine and barely hit 41k. They wanted $3k more of a down payment. So I had to take my car back. Then they tried to show me a more expensive car that magically appeared 5 minutes after I wanted to leave. They play games with you and will take you all day....what a waste of time. They play dirty...know your consumer rights!!! More
Please do not deal with this dealership...you will regret it. I'm pretty level headed, so usually don't complain. Dealing with Walker's Subaru (Renton, WA) was a very negative experience for me, and I have it. I'm pretty level headed, so usually don't complain. Dealing with Walker's Subaru (Renton, WA) was a very negative experience for me, and I have since spoken to other Subaru owners who will not deal with Walker's. Their sales people were some of most unprofessional people I have met. When I went to sign my paperwork for the car I was going to purchase, the sales rep (Anthony) stood over the top of me insultng me or asking questions. When he walked away, the finance rep actually whispered to not trust the sales rep I was dealing with, and he then suggested that I back out of the deal before signing anything. When I took the car to another dealership, they lifted the car to show incredible amounts of undercarriage damage, tons of oil leaking, and it was clear what was taking place. They had shown me very false documents showing the inspection that passed with flying colors. I would never, ever, ever, trust this dealership to do the things that are required by any dealership. I would use Chaplin's in Bellevue, WA. More
