I have loved my 2019 Sante Fe xl. At 100k miles, it immediately started having issues. When I went to pick it up after a $1300 service bill, the vehicle was not fixed. The dealership has had the car for over a week and is currently throwing their hands up as to what is causing it to idle rough and want to sputter out at stops. I have to say, I have loved the vehicle, but the service department has been a disappointment from the get go. They have terrible scheduling and, although I think they have tried to improve their service team, Though Tristan has tried, I have had service managers in the past that were nothing short of rude and condescending. Some of the employees are extremely awesome and go the extra mile to help, but mainly the service department leaves a lot to be desired. More

Initially, I was contacted by your dealership, who explained that there was a strong need for used vehicles. I agreed to explore what options you could offer and visited to look at a 2026 Palisade. While I liked the vehicle, the payment increase of nearly $200 made it impractical for me, so I left without making a decision. Later that day, I received a call with an offer for the same trim and features, but without AWD—which was fine by me, as AWD wasn't essential. I agreed to move forward and arranged to pick up the vehicle Saturday morning on my way to the airport. However, upon returning from my trip, I discovered that the vehicle I received was not the same trim or equipped with the options I was promised. It was clear that I had been misled, particularly given the time constraints I was under. When I returned to voice my concerns, I was told there was nothing that could be done. The salesperson had assured me it was the same as the one I originally viewed, aside from the AWD, but that was not the case. To match the trim and features I expected, I was informed I’d need to pay an additional $4,000. Despite this frustrating experience, I later received a call from the dealership requesting that I rate them highly on a survey, emphasizing its importance for both the salesperson and the dealership itself. In my opinion, this request felt misplaced, especially after my experience. I believe salespeople should be upfront and transparent with their customers, and it’s essential to get every detail in writing or recorded to avoid such situations. On a positive note, I want to express my appreciation for the Hyundai brand. With two Engineering degrees and over 25 years in the auto industry, I am continually impressed by Hyundai’s quality and styling. Unfortunately, my experience with your sales team did not reflect the standards I associate with the brand. For example, I was offered an NFC card to act as a digital key—a feature I specifically wanted—but the salesperson did not realize that the digital key option was required to use the card. This lack of knowledge about vehicle features was disappointing. Overall, this was a poor experience, and it reinforces my hope that, in the future, dealerships will focus solely on service, eliminating the need for salespeople. I contacted the dealership and had the vehicle towed in. vehicle only has 954 miles. First they told me that the battery was dead. Then I was told there was a electrical draw. They have had the vehicle now for 18 days keep telling me they can’t find the problem. Have asked for service manager to call me but he never does. I am not sure they are even trying 18 days seems like a long time for a technician to find the problem. What concerns me most is lack of transparency, poor customer service. Unresolved issues. I hoped for a dealership that stands behind its vehicles and supports its customers, but that wasn’t the case here. Stuart Hyundai sold me a car 2015 Sonata with super low mileage. I purchased it in 2018. I have to believe they knew my car had a very bad oil issue I spent over $2000 to fix the worst oil leak you can hav mileage. I purchased it in 2018. After a full oil change I still have to put 1 to 2 quarts of oil every two weeks, it burns oil like crazy! The only way this can be resolved is if I burn up my engine running out of oil. So if my car dies as I’m driving I have to pray the car behind me doesn’t slam into me! The suggestion nearly floored me. By the way the freaking Judge denied a major recall for a civil suit! My husband purchased a $75,000 pick up and it was in the shop at the beginning. Sunroof leaks, broke I don’t know 2 or 3 windshields trying to fix it. Never happened was told nothing they can do anymore!! His transmission went on a 2022 we purchased Brand New. He had 70,000 mile warranty he had 71,000 or 72,000. We of course respected the warranty was up but it just seemed a little suspicious. SWORE WE WOULD NEVER DEAL WITH WALLACE AGAIN! However we went to Ft Pierce Wallace Hyundai and purchased a Kona. So I am waiting to see what recalls or defects happen with my 2026 Kona. I praying for a more professional service team. 3rd car purchased and I really don’t think they care if we ever come back. Sure wish the previous owner was still the owner. Had a wonderful experience purchasing a Toyota Tacoma pickup and a Volkswagen Jetta. I told him I had purchased a car at the dealership and in the past they provided me with a loaner as I only have one vehicle in my family and I live in Sebastian. He in essence told me that I couldn’t just come on my appointment time and sit and wait as he was totally uncertain whether he could get to it with the right person. He suggested perhaps I go to another dealership which I will now and it’s their loss cause I was considering trading it in the near future for a new one. I called a different dealership, and the tone of the service managers conversation with me was night and day. How to lose a customer in one simple phone call too bad. More
I got a call from a telemarketer who sales dreams obviously. I went to this dealership just to look realistically with no money down and okayish credit and Claire and her team were able to put me in obviously. There was a change in price with the trade in and upgrade but we came to a reasonable solution and decent interest rate. They were patient with me as they could have easily shewed me away.
