POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE /Worst car buying experience. In January, I went to the dealership with a vehicle in mind. I had gone online and T.J. contacted me to follow up. I made an appointment for a test drive and went to the dealership. T.J. was pleasant enough. After the test drive, we started to discuss me buying the vehicle. I told him I was very interested but I wanted a mechanics opinion. I GAVE THE DEALERSHIP $500 and signed paperwork saying I'd buy contingent upon the ok from the mechanic BECAUSE I WANTED TO BUY IF IT CHECKED OUT. I also let them know I had financing through my credit union. I made a tentative appointment for the mechanic to see the vehicle. The mechanic could not go on the day we originally scheduled but we went together 2 days later. The mechanic had a couple of reservations but nothing major. I decided to purchase the vehicle and was given a purchase order for the credit union late on a Friday afternoon headed into MLK weekend so my credit union was closed on that following Monday. From the original online inquiry until Monday I got MANY calls and emails about the vehicle and when could I come and even after visiting and letting my intentions be known and leaving money with them, the calls kept coming and even though I was actually in the process of purchasing the vehicle I was told things such as 'we can't hold the vehicle forever etc. Calls DAILY about the vehicle. I got the financing situated and they still tried to get me in house financing even after I told them I wasn't interested. AND THEY KEPT CALLING. I picked up the check Thursday Jan. 18th (my birthday) and headed to the dealership to take delivery. TJ knew I was coming. I had to wait a fairly long time only to find out the vehicle wasn't even ready for delivery! Emissions had not been done, the tire system light was on and they had to check it out. I WAITED OVER 5 HOURS to take delivery! The dealership had taken in two keys on the trade in of the vehicle but only gave me 1. TJ said he would track it down /give me a call about it. HE NEVER CALLED. I followed up a month ago (April) and the sales manager told me he would order a key for me. Never got a call back from him either and it's been over a month. They did not take me seriously at any point during the sales process and have not had the common courtesy to treat me as a valued customer. If they had taken my purchase seriously, the vehicle would have been ready for delivery when I got there.. No person in my family or friend group will ever purchase a car here and when it's time for me to secure another vehicle, I will certainly overlook this dealership. TJ was nice enough to buy me lunch because I had to wait so very long. If it wasn't for that, I would give them a negative star rating. More
All personnel were very helpful in assisting me in finding a truck. Sam went above the norm to answer my questions and make the deal with me, UNFORTUNATELY the CarFax had some VERY concerning matters finding a truck.
