No catalytic converter While my original experience with Wallingford GMC was pleasant, I soon found out that they sold me a car without a catalytic converter. Likely illegal While my original experience with Wallingford GMC was pleasant, I soon found out that they sold me a car without a catalytic converter. Likely illegal to sell and definitely illegal to drive, its an obvious part that only requires the car to be up on a lift to confirm if its their or not. For their mechanics to miss a part like that is ridiculous. After test driving the car for the first time I specifically asked if the catalytic converter was on the car and was assured it was. Management did offer to pay for a new exhaust to fix the problem but it was a problem that should have never occurred. $500 out of my pocket later, the car is now legal to drive and will pass CT emissions but there was, and is no way I'll let their mechanics touch my car in the future. More
