Sitting in a dealership for 2 hours playing a waiting game while someone looks at your trade and then dancing the two step on prices until an agreement is reached is painful. I know not all of that can be avoided, but with Wallingford GMC and Mr. Goydon the transaction and directness in which the process was handled was very much appreciated. No games. I did my homework ahead of time, and went at it by defining my needs and wants, and what they could do, and settled it in 30 minutes. Painless. The deal was fair, the trade in on my car was above market and we both walked away happy. The delivery was next day, the shop had the car ready, Mary Chambers in finance had her piece together and again, I was in an out in a snap. Now, getting through the process is what is important to me, the time and effort these folks are willing to put in to win business is there, even after the sale offering to program this or that. I just like doing business with this dealership. I think the trick is understanding what a customer is after is key, critical in fact, and they listen rather than talk at you. I've been through a lot of cars over the years and would genuinely and confidently recommend Richie Goydon and the team at Wallingford GMC if your in the market for a car. More

Very impressed with salesman and dealership We were in the market for a mid-sized SUV. Like most people these days, we spent a great deal of time searching numerous websites looking for the bes We were in the market for a mid-sized SUV. Like most people these days, we spent a great deal of time searching numerous websites looking for the best deal. I saw one ad online for Wallingford Buick with a good deal on a lease, so I called on a Sat. and Lawrence took the call. I then spent the rest of the afternoon checking different lease options on a couple of vehicles. As I called a number of times with different possible way to run the lease, he got back to me each time within 15 minutes with a new set of numbers for me. We checked with a couple of other dealerships and they couldn't match his numbers. Lawrence even followed up with me the next day. I ended up visiting the dealership, decided on the GMC Terrain after Lawrence got us an even better deal on the AWD version. As impressed with Lawrence as I was during the sales side of it, it wasn't until I was picking up the vehicle that I realized how much better he was than any other car salesman I had ever dealt with. He went over EVERY feature in detail to be sure I knew how everything worked, including setting the door locks, and other programming features, exactly how we wanted them, and even sat there while they activated the OnStar and helped telling us what we really needed and didn't need. As I told him, I will be sure to see him first, whenever I purchase a vehicle and will be sure to send anyone I know to him. More

Worth the drive I went with my son to buy a car a month or so ago, I would never have thought I would be back on my own to lease a car.
