It had been towed a couple of All of the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. My 2017 XT 5 has had problems for at least the past two years. It had been towed a couple of times to Stead. Nothing was ever identified as a culprit of my car needing three batteries in three years. There were many other symptoms which I feel were warning signs. The service department just identified the battery was dead, gave me a new battery and that will fix the problem. It didn’t fix the problem. I know service worked hard to try to identify the problem and they were very nice to us. My problem surely wasn’t the first time they’d seen it. And if it was they needed to talk to someone higher up in service. Further research should have been done to get my car fixed. I felt there was an issue with the computers in the car. Something was draining my battery. I feel Cadillac didn’t want to get into the possibility that the computers in the car may have been the problem. It would cost a. lot of money to fix and no one from Cadillac wanted to go there. Because my car “died” three times I became concerned about driving it. Luckily, I was home the first and second time it happened. Being out somewhere at night, alone and to have a dead battery was a huge concern. So, I feel I was forced to buy a new car. I would not have been in the market for a new car and I am not happy about having to fork out $27,000. I think Cadillac should stand behind their products and get to the bottom of the issues. This is the 4th Cadillac in our household. I feel we have very been loyal to Cadillac. I like my new car very much but I think I took the hit when Cadillac should have searched deeper to find the problem and fixed it. I would like to hear back from someone that is above Melissa ( we have already talked about this issue) to discuss this issue and I would like Cadillac to make it right for me, the customer. Jeremy provided more than routine service I took my leased XT5 in for routine maintenance, and brought a couple of minor issues to Jeremy's attention. He informed me there was also a new reca I took my leased XT5 in for routine maintenance, and brought a couple of minor issues to Jeremy's attention. He informed me there was also a new recall for engine computer upgrade. All of this was performed as quickly as could be expected while I waited. It was a rainy day, but at my request they also washed and cleaned the car, which had just been through a messy trip. Jeremy kept me informed by text as maintenance progressed. I don't know what the upgrade was, but the car drives better than ever. More
