I tried to buy a car but the used car manager of all things refused to sell it to me unless I bought a "lifetime" warranty as it would look bad on him if I didn't and would screw up his numbers. At $50/oil change, amounts to $450 more in cost of ownership. Less trade-in value than other dealership and NO negotiation. Rather felt that we had fallen in love with the candy in the case, then handed the fuzzy lollipop and told to accept it. More
