We had whittled down our selection of contenders for our new compact SUV to the new Mazda CX-5 and the new Toyota Rav4. We had been in twice before and Mark at Walser Mazda had helped us each time in answering all our questions. We had mentioned to him our concern that we needed to test drive the Rav4. Instead of going next door to a competitor Toyota dealer he suggested that we take the Mazda CX-5 to the Walser Toyota dealer so we could perform that test drive. We did just that and we took that comparison test drive while Mark waited patiently for us. My wife and I were amazed that a dealer would do this for us. Ultimately the Mazda CX-5 won out over the competition and Mike helped us in finding just the right color CX-5 with just the right options. Katrina helped explain all the financial details making us feel at ease with the entire process. Mark once again helped us on delivery day to ensure we had all our questions answered before we drove home that first night. Burnsville Walser Mazda has won us over by these and other examples of what we call going over the top to make us happy with the entire process in getting our new Mazda CX-5. Sincerely, Andy and Sue More
I visited the dealership to see a used Mercedes Benz...Dylan was absolutely excellent...He made my son and I FEEL IMPORTANT...He is an excellent salesperson, who treats you with dignity and respect Benz...Dylan was absolutely excellent...He made my son and I FEEL IMPORTANT...He is an excellent salesperson, who treats you with dignity and respect...I can honestly say, without his customer-friendly attitude and commitment to make my wife happy with the purchase, I would have selected another dealership... I went in to look at my end of lease options and came home with a new 2014 CX5! Ryan was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel I was given a fair trade in on my Mazda 6 and with other incentiv home with a new 2014 CX5! Ryan was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I feel I was given a fair trade in on my Mazda 6 and with other incentives it was a no brainer to trade up early. This is my 3rd Mazda from Walser and I will be back in three years again when this lease is up. This dealership is exceptional! More
Buying a vehicle can be very stressful, especially if it is your first time ever doing so. I have had the experience with a different Mazda dealership when I first started test driving, and this experience is your first time ever doing so. I have had the experience with a different Mazda dealership when I first started test driving, and this experience was by far the reason why I bought my vehicle from this location. I went in on a Saturday looking for information, and numbers. I was fortunate to get dealt to Robert, whom I felt at ease with explaining it was my first purchase, and trusted that he wouldn't abuse that information and sell me something that I wouldn't be able to afford. Robert listened to all my wants and needs, and sold me a vehicle he would feel comfortable selling his daughter, which I respected considering how nervous I was to purchase something so valuable. I trusted Robert to sell me a vehicle that he thought was safe, and most importantly, perfect for my needs at this time in my life. Thank you to both Mazda, and Robert, for an experience well worth the wait! More
Tom was a great knowledgeable salesman. There was no pressure to buy and he was very helpful with explaining the process. When I decided on a car, everything was smooth up to that point. I was pretty pressure to buy and he was very helpful with explaining the process. When I decided on a car, everything was smooth up to that point. I was pretty sure I qualified for the financing special they had at the time which was 2.9% for 48 months. So the sales people were great but when it comes to the finance guys, that was when things didn't go so well. I filled out the credit app and apparently was told that I didn't qualify for the Mazda financing special. They gave me the option of finding other financial institutions that they worked with. So I waited another half hour and they came back and told me that the best they could find is 6.9% based on what I qualified for. I laughed because I knew that my credit was excellent and that there was no way that I was going to pay that kind of interest on a car. My brother had this same issue with Walser Nissan. He told me it is better to get pre-qualified online before you walk into a dealership. I decided to hold off buying then and during that same week went to another local dealership to look for a similar car. Again I worked with a courteous knowledgeable sales person. They somehow qualified me for the special with no problems at all. As I expected, my credit score was great and I had a good down payment and found that they weren't out to cheat me. I know that the dealerships don't make money on selling new cars but they profit on the used ones. Lesson learned is, don't let the dealership find you financing. I know they make money on the back end of financing. What a joke this dealership is. I would never recommend that anyone buys a car there. More
We worked with Samantha and Mark when purchasing our Mazda. They both did a great job making us feel welcome and helping find the right car for us. When our car wasn't on the lot, they looked at other Mazda. They both did a great job making us feel welcome and helping find the right car for us. When our car wasn't on the lot, they looked at other dealerships for us as well. They promised us that if we could n't find a car on the lot, they would find it for us any way they could, and they did! I have both of their business cards in my wallet to pass on to friends looking to buy. More
Walser Mazda is the most un-christian-like most dishonest dealership I have ever been to! We bought my car from Walser about a year and a half ago and was told that I would get 'FREE Oil changes for life" dealership I have ever been to! We bought my car from Walser about a year and a half ago and was told that I would get 'FREE Oil changes for life"...after a year and a half of recieving the free oil changes the service department said they have now discontinued the free oil change program! If I wanted to still recieve Free oil changes I would have to have services done BETWEEN the Mazda scheduled services at about $1,000- each time and also must never take it to another Mazda dealership for service! WOW! I spoke to the General Manager Charlie Swanson who could care less! My husband is serving overseas and wont be back for another year. I plan on telling every one in my church how I was treated by Walser and I hope that you also will think twice when they offer you a special to make you buy a car from them! I will NEVER do buisiness with Walser again! More
We were very pleased with the overall look, fantastic color (Zeal Red Mica), amenities that include leather seats, navigational system, decent gas mileage, Bose speakers and cargo capacity. The price wa color (Zeal Red Mica), amenities that include leather seats, navigational system, decent gas mileage, Bose speakers and cargo capacity. The price was in the range we were anticipating, and the trade-in price was fair. We are really enjoying our new Mazda CX-5! More
Bob was by far the best of all the dealers that I worked over the past few weeks. There wasn't a questions he couldn't answer, and I didn't feel pressured into making a decision. over the past few weeks. Bought a brand new top of the line tribute with extended warranty to 100000 miles. Noticed at about 95000 miles there was an oil leak, took it in and had it addressed (tightened something). At about 98000 warranty to 100000 miles. Noticed at about 95000 miles there was an oil leak, took it in and had it addressed (tightened something). At about 98000, still an oil leak, took it in and they replaced oil pan gasket. 101000 miles, car still leaking oil (couldn't tell since the oil spot in my driveway was rather large). Took it in and low and behold it's now the rear main seal and warranty will no longer cover, 1300.00 is what I was expected to pay. Called them out and was told to call warranty company which told me no go on coverage since I was over 100000. Dealership didn't do anything to help, except charge me warranty price of like 850.00. Nice, wow, thanks, maybe fix the car right the first time when it was under warranty? Not only will I never buy a extended warranty again, I will never purchase a Walser car again! I am still bitter and it's been 3 years, and to show I'm not unreasonable I would say everything was great up to the point I needed the REAL customer service. I actually know Mr. Walser and am too embarrassed to say anything to him. More
