On December 27th, I dropped off the car, and after more than 2 hours, they texted me saying they could do the calibration but it probably wouldn't work because of the rain. It had been raining since before I arrived, so they knew they wouldn't be able to perform the calibration that day. They suggested rescheduling and still charged me $110 for a diagnostic. The problem is, I didn't need a diagnostic—I already knew the issue. My appointment was for calibration. They charged me $110 for a very simple scan that anyone with a $30 scanner could do. I had already run scans on my car; I just didn't have the proper setup to complete the calibration. I wasted 4 hours of my time and $110. This place is very unprofessional. Dominic Daoheuang doesn't listen to customers and completely ignored that I came for calibration, not a diagnostic. More

My experience at Walser Honda has always been great. Usually able to get me in, waiting room comfortable, and get me out without any problems. I'm always made aware of how long my wait will be. I brought my 2008 Honda CRV in for what I'd call "much-delayed maintenance," The car has always run well, but I had not ever changed any of the fluids other than regular oil changes for 150,000 mile "much-delayed maintenance," The car has always run well, but I had not ever changed any of the fluids other than regular oil changes for 150,000 miles. (I live more than 1.5 hours from the nearest Honda Dealership, and three hours from Walser--we were in town visiting family) I had Walser check and change EVERYTHING (flushed the radiator, brakes, power steering, transmission, etc., in addition to an oil change).. and they saw that I also needed a serpentine belt, new plugs, and a valve adjustment, and there was also a factory recall fix that they flagged and needed to be done (no charge for that). They did this all on a Saturday, and even drove me to and from my daughter's home via Lyft a few miles away so I did not have to sit there all day. Michael made a detailed video of all the things they checked and provided me with an estimate for all the recommended services before getting my approval (over the phone with Jake) to go forward with all of them. I expect to drive this car to 300,000 miles, and hope Walser will help me do that! Very impressed with their service! More
I went to the Burnsville Walser Honda Dealership/Service Center with my 2023 CRV Hybrid for a second quote – the issue was not a defect of the vehicle, nor was it the fault/responsibility of Walser Honda. I was informed by many sources that going to a dealership would be more expensive and take way more time, etc., so I went to a couple of independent shops that quoted me $390-$456 and would take over a week to fix. When I pulled into the Walser service center, I was greeted by Jake Schlussler, who instantly took accountability for my service. After reviewing the issue, he brought a technician to my car to appraise, and in short order was able to diagnose the problem and provide an estimate of $40 to fix. Jake did some magic and was able to get the part delivered the next morning, personally informing me when it arrived. The service call took 20 minutes and the issue was fixed in less than 24 hours. On top of that, I didn’t even get charged the amount estimated. My experience was the opposite of everything I was told. The quality of work was high, service time was fast, and the cost was not even comparable…but most of all, I have never had such attentive and stellar service.
