The whole ordeal resulted in a miscommunication that cost me $1200. Subaru talked with Honda who had originally said they would take care of the oil leak they had missed prior to sale. However by the time I got over to Honda (across the street) I was met with personal insults and a refusal to honor the warranty, explained with endless references to misleading fine print. Subaru was friendly, but how can the communication be so poor? They also quoted me $1500 to fix the leak, I went to a trusted mechanic instead who did it for $600. The price difference in not justifiable in any way. I had two additional smaller issues fixed (that Walser didnt know about yet, or at least claimed not to have known) to bring the total repairs up to $1200, still $300 cheaper than Walser's price for just the leak. Their work around with the warranty had me paying for everything regardless. I can't in good faith recommend any Walser service, Subaru, Honda etc. on any level knowing this is how they operate. More
