It’s impersonal and asked me if I wanted to “schedule an appointment” when in fact, my appointment date and time had ALREADY been scheduled a month in advance. “Newer” isn’t always “better” when it comes to AI communication. And thank goodness you have Service Advisors because, God forbid I could actually talk to a mechanic, I mean “technician”. More
I had to wait 4 hours in the waiting area to get a simple oil and fluid change I was told it takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours to do the actual work. It took too long for an oil change and tire rotation. The service representative said it would be ready about 12:15pm. It was actually ready at 2:10. My appointment was for an oil change and fix the open recall on my 2020 Camry. I made the appointment a month in advance to allow time to get the parts necessary for the recall. A week before the appointment I received a text confirming I was bringing the car in for recall so that they could ensure the parts were there. When I got to the appointment I was told they didn’t have the parts and would not be able to do the recall. This is the second time I have tried to bring my car for the recall. The first time was at a different dealership, hence why I went Walser this time. Extremely disappointing experience with Toyota overall with regards to this recall. So I did the oil change however when it was done they couldn’t find my car. My car was not washed and it was parked outside in the hot sun unlike the other cars that were waiting in the check-in bay, clean and cool. I’m not sure I’ll return to this dealership. More
