A/C & Suspension First off, these repairs were completed on a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500. The ac compressor had been replaced a couple months ago but, with the weather warmi First off, these repairs were completed on a 2003 GMC Sierra 1500. The ac compressor had been replaced a couple months ago but, with the weather warming up, it was only blowing cool. Service department said with it being 15 years old, it had probably sucked in enough leaves to plug the evaporator. They recommended I replace it because of its age. It runs as good as it did when it was new. The truck had also started wandering slightly. They discovered the rack and pinion was leaking. Replaced it and it handles like a new truck. Pretty good for a 15 year old truck with 218K miles. More
