Wow. Where to start!? My transmission oil pump died and it took the tranny with it. The tranny fluid was changed 40k miles ago, so it wasn't for lack of Where to start!? My transmission oil pump died and it took the tranny with it. The tranny fluid was changed 40k miles ago, so it wasn't for lack of maintenance. Luckily I made it to WRC under my own power. Brian listened to it and said, "you better just leave it here." They took me home and then gave me a loaner. Took a bit for GM to get them a tranny, but it finally came. Gene did the troubleshooting and said we should replace the cooler and any lines because everything was full of metal shavings. We also replaced the oil pump belt since we had the tranny out. Since we were already doing some serious work, we serviced the front & rear differentials, changed motor oil. We just recently serviced the transfer case so it was good. It was expensive, but the WRC service team made it less painful. My sincere thanks to Brian, Matt, and Gene for getting me back on the road. My truck has 102,000 miles on it, and now the tranny has another 3yrs/100k mile warranty on it. It's a diesel so I'll use all that 🤗. THANKS GUYS YOU ARE THE BEST!!! 👍👍👍 More
