Had a disappointing experience trying to purchase a Telluride. Potential customers should know that for this dealer, the online “final” price does not include an almost $6k markup on all Tellurides. It’s the dealership’s prerogative to apply a markup, but I wish it was more transparent. We were told after test driving one that they wouldn’t apply the markup and would only charge MSRP. When we showed up the next day ready to purchase, relatively late into the process and after they ran credit we were told that representation was incorrect and they would be charging the markup. The salesman who told us originally that they would charge only MSRP admitted he told us that initially and apologized, which we did appreciate, but we took our business elsewhere. (I don’t see his name listed; it was Chris something. He was very nice and apologetic.) The other folks involved weren’t as nice and basically laughed in our faces that we thought we could buy for MSRP. If interested in Tellurides, and if you want to pay for MSRP, shop around! It can be done. There are a number of forums that have popped up for that exact purpose of identifying dealers charging only MSRP! More
