I requested and received an quote through email, which i brought into dealership to purchase car, sales manager Brad Mcgraw, refused to sell. this was august 1st, 2011. it began saturday july 30, first thing i did was say im looking for this person and handed Chris Paffrath a post it with the information Pebbis Williams emailed me. He said she had talked to him about this, which im not sure if it was true or not either way he brought us to Pebbis and she said he would take care of us. we test drove a car and asked finance questions, with the email price quote we received.As we where in our car leaving Brad Mcgraw said "what can i do to make you take this car home today", i said "nothing we have to save $1300 to be where we want on our payments." he then said he could take $1000 off the price, we left to discuss and when i called to ask about the car the sales associate (Chris Paffrath) said it had sold but if we came back up the same day and leave a deposit they would order us one at that price, so around 7pm we did drive up and leave a check. monday august 1st the sales associate called in the afternoon and said they got the car in and could we come in that day, so after work around 7:30pm we went back up, looked over new car and waited an hour and a half to see someone in finance, the finance person told us the price of the car which was $695 more than the email stated, when we asked why we where told by sales manager Brad McGraw,it is a required auto detail package. the email says nothing about this. I told him we do not live in the area and would not use the service, we do not want to pay for this. he tried to convince us and i finally asked him if he would sell us the car at the price they quote in the email, (which technically he said he would give us $1000 off of) that i brought a copy of, he took the copy of the email (which i still have saved on my computer) and said no, he would not sell us the car with out the added auto detail, so we left. i then emailed the person, pebbis williams, who sent me the quote and she never replied. I believe this is false advertising and unethical business practice. If you require any more details i will be glad to provide them.

We did - in the end - purchase the CR-V with another dealer, so there's not much more to do with this one. But I do wish that the sales process was more transparent there in the future.

I actually gave friendlyness a higher rating to acknowledge Pebbis' responsiveness and friendliness. And my review did single Pebbis out for being one good aspect that I experienced. I intend to keep my review out there - because I believe it to be honest and accurate. But I would encourage you to send the text of this message to the GM and should consider that when evaluating Pebbis' performance.
