I give Westchester Toyota a 5 and John Madera has a lot to do with my rating. In 2008 We bought our very first Toyota FJ Cruiser from him and I still remember it like it was yesterday. It happen to be my husband's Birthday and to our surprise, John even went out of his way and bought a cake for him. When we walked out from the finance office to see our new truck there was John with the truck all ready for us... clean, tank full of gas and in John's hands was a cake complete with candles. Right in front of the dealership we sang Happy Birthday and then drove away feeling pretty happy with our new Truck and more importantly with the way John paid so much attention to detail. John truly exemplifies caring, compassion and thoughtfulness. From the start of our interaction to the very end, we were pleased. John was honest, helpful, funny and very insightful. I am more pleased to write that on 07/13/12 John went above and beyond to ensure that I left the dealership in the car that I actually wanted, a white Toyota Yaris LE. When I arrived to the dealership the car described was not there but John paid attention from the start to what I asked for and made it happen - effortlessly. John addressed all my concerns and made sure that he put the customer first. I could not believe how fast I was in my new car. I am very happy and grateful for my interaction with him and will recommend him to anyone interested in buying a car. More
I have a new Toyota Camry less than a month old, and I am very satisfied with it. I rarely listen to the radio, except for a few specific stations. I was told that I had the trial membership to the Satellite very satisfied with it. I rarely listen to the radio, except for a few specific stations. I was told that I had the trial membership to the Satellite XM stations, however, i was never able to access them, and I didn't think about it until I received a letter from XM saying that I did have an activated 3 month trial membership, which I could then extend, once it expired. I called my Dealership & asked for my salesman, who was not at work that day. I told them my issue & said that I hope they can activate it remotely, however, I would be in New York all day & I could bring it by if they needed me to. Mr. Madera called me back, did some researching of the problem & I was asked to bring the vehicle in, if I could. When I arrived, he called from my car & spoke with someone from Satellite XM. It was clear to John Madera & to the people he was speaking with (I also briefly spoke with them)that the car Satellite signal had not been activated. "XM" said that they would activate it for the two remaining months, however, the loss of the one month (No XM Service)was the customer's responsibility (mine), for not notifying earlier. Rather than dispute with the XM person over the phone, John Madera paid for the monthly charge, right there, over the phone, using his own credit card. XM then activated (within 5 minutes)the service for 3 months.I think this was EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE delivered by John Madera. I was transformed from a potentially angry & disgruntled customer to an immensely satisfied and grateful customer. I am a recently retired Supervisor of a Customer Inquiry department of Con Edison. I know GOOD customer service, and the power of delivering a YES (rather than excuses). John created in me what we used to call a PMCE, a Positive Memorable Customer Experience. In addition, afterwards,he asked if there was anything else he could assist with. I mentioned two other items, with which he also helped. More
Lease on my 2010 Toyota Camry was expiring so I was looking for good deals. After checking couple of Toyota dealerships I found Westchester Toyota to have the best deals on new Camrys. Suraju Murtala looking for good deals. After checking couple of Toyota dealerships I found Westchester Toyota to have the best deals on new Camrys. Suraju Murtala was very helpful and knowledgeable. He worked with me and always pleasant even though for 2 days I changed my mind about the colors, models and price. I think I got a good deal and I think my new favorite dealership. Jaime Gonzalez is one of the managers and he's just a delight to work with. Always helpful and always friendly. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my deal I've got here, with sales rep, with manager and dealership. Two thumbs way up. More

I was just looking around, shopping for The Best deals on a rav4. Lilliam took care of me and my family, heard all my needs and cleared all my concerns and doubts about the rav4. After a while, she decided that according to my needs I should get a rav4 limited. She made sure that she put me in a high end quality rav4, top of the line. Could not be happier w my rav4. Great place with a nice selection new and used cars. Suraju was great. Patient and not pushy. I found the 4Runner sitting in the showroom, but didn't look at it at fist. We test drove a Camry, which was my first car, and I realized I had already driven that and wanted a new driving experience. When I shifted gears (sorry puns) from the Camry and started asking questions Suraju didn't even flinch that I had just wasted an hour with the Camry and was thinking about a different car. All in all, Suraju was awesome taking the time to show me the cars, walk through the process of buying the car, and sending me off in a new 4Runner. More
I had brought my new vehicle to the service department to have an alarm installed. After I received my vehicle, I noticed scratches on my new car. I spoke with Glenn and showed him the damage done. He assured me I would not incur costs and I was directed to Cara who helped arrange a car rental. My initial experience was negative because the backroom mechanics were not straightforward with the scratches. Glenn, Cara, and Frantz were very professional and sympathetic. I received my car, scratch free. Make sure you do a walk through of your vehicle before driving off. Thanks again Glenn, Cara and Frantz for assessing the matter and taking responsibility. More
I returned a car to Toyota recently and Joan Rivas was the determining factor for my decision to discontinue leasing a new Toyota and in particular, ever using Westchester Toyota again. He was rude, barely said two words to me, he has no personality so I don't know what he is doing in the sales industry. I have dealt with Westchester Toyota for 2 leases and the sales people are very unprofessional (for my last lease, the salesmen could not have been working there more than a year - did not know what "XL" meant when I asked about the trim of a car), they not forthcoming in the overall final price of vehicles (there's always some item they forgot to mention until the day you arrive to sign the contract). The whole atmosphere at Westchester Toyota is unwelcoming and unprofessional - no one takes the time to say anything to you when you are standing there waiting for the receptionist or waiting for a salesman. I saw employees smoking outside the front door of the dealership, people waiting to speak to someone looking frustrated, just not a good sales experience overall. Very disappointed in Westchester Toyota. More
