We returned to this dealership after purchasing 2 new cars from them in the past. We pre-ordered that vehicle to our customization, and the salesman back then was willing to help in any way he could. To the contrary, this time we were looking to purchase a 2009 Nissan Murano, that we first observed driving by the dealership. When we looked the vehicle up on their website, one price was quoted, but as soon as my husband went to see the vehicle he was immediately given a different higher price by Cherie. Seemed like they use the internet for the classic Bait and Switch trick. After we told her of the lower price quoted on the internet, our entire customer service experience began to spiral downwards. We could not get her full attention. Anytime a question was asked about the vehicle she would run around the dealership trying to find an answer. We asked her over 45 minutes for a test drive, and she said "you were late so, when I'm done making that deal over there I'll get to you". We even asked for someone else to take us on a test drive and she was extremely hesitant because, we were "her customer". She did not care about our comfort or time spent waiting, she just wanted to keep control of any potential sale. Her professionalism truly tested us, while she was smoking in front of the car we were considering purchasing. I informed her of my son's severe cigarette allergy and special needs. She rudely stated "I'm not bringing it in the car with us!" Cherie's behavior was reported to the Front Receptionist and then her Manager, Rick. Rick listened to our concerns on that day. However, after we had the car inspected, the Mechanic noted in his report that 1) all tires are worn, 2) the battery charge is low and will require changing, 3) brakes are worn and require attention and last 4) air filter is worn. Rick was made aware of all of these findings/concerns and his statement to us was "our used cars only have to pass inspections. That's it." We were shocked that he said that out loud to us! After finally getting the vehicle home on Saturday, the next morning we go out and the OIL CHANGE LIGHT is on. Come on guys, I hope you at least changed the oil on a car you just sold! This has just been one horrible experience. I called sales customer service and spoke with Monique LaBar, whom transferred me to Westchester Toyota's General Manager, David Lee. I sent him a copy of Lemon Protectors (mechanics) report depicting all of issues listed, 4 days ago. However, he has failed to call me back to discuss any of these problems. Future buyers beware, this is not the award winning gold dealership that they claim to be. They wont receive anymore referrals from me. More
For a new sales person ( 5-6 months) Mina was great! He was very patient and knowledgable and maintained a great attitude in each of my visits. With the guidance of his manager, Anson, Mina worked out lea was very patient and knowledgable and maintained a great attitude in each of my visits. With the guidance of his manager, Anson, Mina worked out leases on the 3 different models and helped me narrow down my decision to a beautiful new Rav 4. I had a great experience with them. I was able to walk in and take my time. I knew what I wanted but at least they were not pushy about it. I just recently purchased a Prius on Saturday. I have been shopping for about 3 weeks. Shopping for cars always seems to be a hassle. After visiting four dealerships I have to say the staff at Westchester Toyota was spot on (I believe that is the new phrase). They were polite and friendly. They consulted rather than pressured. Making the sale the wll be as friendly as possible, when you have an issue the pass the the problem to another person and over and over with out any closure. They don't return phone calls.
