Incompetence or Dishonesty I contacted this dealership to purchase a 4runner TRD Pro. This is a very limited produced car so I was surprised and skeptical when the "Sales Suppo I contacted this dealership to purchase a 4runner TRD Pro. This is a very limited produced car so I was surprised and skeptical when the "Sales Support Specialist" I spoke to said, oh yes, we have that car in several colors. I asked for proof that the car was there before scheduling a visit (entailing a 45 minute drive and getting a babysitter). This "Sales Support Specialist" sent me a spec sheet for the car and confirmed in writing that it was there for me to test drive. I took the trip to the dealership not more than 3 hours later and after waiting 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time the salesman (who I had not spoken to before) informed me within 5 minutes of checking that the car was not there, was never there, and was not on its way to get there. So I was completely misled and my time wasted despite all my efforts to avoid this very situation. If there goal was to mislead me in hopes that I would just buy another car while there, they failed miserably. I explained the situation to the manager on staff and he could care less - no explanation for how it happened, or concern that it happened in the first place. Don't waste your time with this place -- they are incompetent or would be con men, or both. More

Discouragement and Deception. I wanted to trade in my vehicle. Westchester Toyota inspected my car and concluded that my vehicle is not worth $500.00 and they would only junk it if I wanted to trade in my vehicle. Westchester Toyota inspected my car and concluded that my vehicle is not worth $500.00 and they would only junk it if they accepted it. My car has a BB value of $1900.00 to $2300.00. This was confirmed by two other dealers. Westchester Toyota' s website advertised, "push, pull, or tow your vehicle for up to $3500.00". My vehicle is better than good. For me it was a demeaning experience and had to leave with shame. So all that hype about customer satisfaction is their # 1 priority is all bull. More

My uncle and I went to this place and negotiated a deal, which included trading in my 2013 Camry Hybrid, on a very attractive deal of a 2016 Camry LE. Attractive because that's when they started pulling the switch. First they asked for a series of requirements for me to be on the loan since my credit score is not great due to rehabilitating student loans. I met all the requirements and given that my current car is financed through Toyota, under my uncle's stellar credit, I thought it would be a much nicer experience than what we have had with other Toyota dealership recently. Not so. I witnessed several red flags. First, on a Labor Day weekend Saturday people came in and out without purchasing a car. Second, the staff does not greet customers. You never see a Finance Manager or Sales Manager talk to you about what they're doing to have us drive out of there in a new car. Here's the real story now. They wanted us to put down 20 percent and finance the car through Toyota Financial Services for a 36-month term because, according to them, on my uncle's credit history it came up that his income was taxi-related. Is it our problem that most Toyotas in the New York area are taxis? We explained that... 1. The car was for me 2. That the current vehicle has been registered under my name as a private passenger car since we go it 3. That Toyota financed the current car at another dealership (1.9 APR for 60 months) and the taxi income was not an issue 4. They could see that my uncle already has a vehicle registered as a taxi (an Accord financed by Honda thanks to his stainless credit history) None of this mattered. At Toyota you're guilty until proven innocent. WE ASKED THEM TO SEND THE LOAN APPLICATION TO THE PRIVATE BANKS (CHASE, CAPITAL ONE, ETC.) FOR A 60-MONTH TERM APPROVAL BUT.... THEY WOULD NOT. Since this dealership is part of Bram Auto Group, I assume their other 20+ dealerships are paying their bills. In reality they don't sell cars. They're good at designing schemes to cheat you out of your hard-earned money. Wasted three days in this odyssey. In the end, we left with a significant dent on the front passenger door of our car. Courtesy of one of the sales consultants who recklessly opened the door of a RAV4 as we drove through their parking lot. NO APOLOGIES.:. Nothing! It has become a journey to buy a Toyota these days unless you're ready to be ripped off. Remember, stay as far away as you can. More
