DON'T BUY A VEHICLE FROM WESTGATE CDJR. I ALWAYS PURCHASE MY WARRANTIES SEPARATELY AND I ASKED FOR A SEPARATE BILL OF SALE HOWEVER I WAS TOLD BY ABDUL THAT WAS NOT NEEDED. I CALLED TODAY TO I ALWAYS PURCHASE MY WARRANTIES SEPARATELY AND I ASKED FOR A SEPARATE BILL OF SALE HOWEVER I WAS TOLD BY ABDUL THAT WAS NOT NEEDED. I CALLED TODAY TO HAVE MY WARRANTIES CANCELED AND NEVER RECEIVED THE EMAIL. SINCE I WAS ON THIS SIDE OF TOWN I DECIDED TO STOP BY AND COMPLETE IT IN PERSON TO MAKE SURE ITS DONE ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT THE MONEY WOULD GO TO THE BANK THAT FINANCED MY LOAN. I'VE BOUGHT SEVERAL VEHICLES AND WARRANTIES AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT I EVER BEEN TOLD THIS. I HAVE PURCHASED SEVERAL VEHICLES FROM THIS DEALERSHIP AND REFERRED PEOPLE BUT NEVER AGAIN! THE SO CALLED MANAGER HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME IF I KNOW HOW CANCELLATIONS WORK. I SURE DO AND WATCH HOW I WORK. WISH I COULD REMEMBER THE MANAGERS NAME BUT THEY WILL REMEMNER MINE! After searching several weeks and visiting multiple dealers, we finally found my daughter’s dream car. We purchased the car and we also purchased the optional bumper to bumper warranty. I was very clear that we would not purchase this car unless it was covered by warranty bumper to bumper…no exceptions! The finance manager assured us the extended warranty we purchased was bumper to bumper and it would cover any major repairs, towing, car rental etc…We moved forward with the purchase because we thought Westgate was an honest, reputable dealership and could be trusted…NOT THE CASE!! For the second time in less than four months since we purchased this car, my daughter has been stranded on the side of a highway, with a broken down car. Now, the car is currently at the Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Raleigh dealership where we purchased from, in need of a $5000 dollar major “dangerous steering” repair. That will also take 6-10 weeks…I was just told by the sales manager Travis Johnson, that my daughters car was NOT covered by the bumper to bumper, wonderful and reassuring warranty we were scammed into purchasing. Instead, Travis was not concerned, was not apologetic and began to justify selling us a lemon, no options, no ownership, told me to call my attorney is the best route at this point and so on…I think you get the message here?! RUN.. RUN.. RUN, Please “DO NOT” trust Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in Raleigh NC and look elsewhere before buying a vehicle!!!! This is a horrible situation….Taking advantage of honest, hard working families is an absolute disgrace!! WAS MISLEAD THROUGHOUT ENTIRE BUYING PROCESS. Neg price down before seeing vehicle bc was very familiar with yr, make, & model. We all know they absolutely can, it's relatively inexpensive and IN THE INTEREST OF GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE for them to do so. Instead they offered to connect me w/ their windshield ppl for deeply discounted rate after I explained I didn't want to spend $25k & turn around & face $500 repair. Replacement quote from their ppl-$550. TO DATE, THEY REFUSE TO ADDRESS. Was led to believe 'Stop/Start System' was 'unavailable', i.e. 'not equipped' on my vehicle when actually it is, there's just a problem w/ it, and a light indicating it should be serviced, which they refuse to look into. Day after bringing it home, light appeared indicating 'Service Shifter' and the gear control lights meant to indicate what gear it's in did not light up. To date, they refuse to take a look at this. They did agree to replace 2 tires. It has been almost 2 weeks, I've ASKED REPEATEDLY about the status of the tires arriving and scheduling service with no response. This is BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE & SATISFACTION. More

Just purchased a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Platinum with 14400 miles. Found the vehicle online scheduled a test drive. During the test drive noticed the brakes had issues. On the drive home the air wasn't working right (not getting cold enough). I called, they came and picked it up (1.5 hours) to fix it. I am aware used vehicle have some issues. So far they are providing excellent service in my opinion (Ricky and Drew). I'll provide an update later. More

I initially made contact with Westgate CDJR in Raleigh on October 28th about a used 2022 Ram TRX. After a test drive and talking some numbers, we came to terms and they told me they couldn't legally sell th October 28th about a used 2022 Ram TRX. No problems, so, I purchased the truck from them on November 6th, 2024 since the title was released to them from the state on November 1st. The transaction, at first, was pretty smooth. I applied for a plate transfer, which I've done in the past, and it was never a big deal. The first sign of problems came when I had to track down a manager just to get a signed copy of the documents since they delivered the truck to my house. Since I asked for a plate transfer, I needed some documentation to keep me legal and prove the vehicle is mine. Since then, I've contacted the dealership and the NC DMV multiple times in order to figure out why a 10-14 day process still isn't finished. The paperwork got messed up somewhere at their title office and the NC DMV ended up issuing me another title number for the vehicle I traded. I finally got ahold of a finance manager last week who said it was a mess up on the bank's part (xxxxxxxx) and that it'll "just take a little time" and I was only able to get some correspondance from the finance manager after multiple emails and calls because I threatened to contact the NC DoJ and start blasting out reviews. As of today, January 7th, 2025, my trade has been sold, tagged, and titled while I still don't have an updated registration and my truck is still registered to the previous owner. I previously purchased from the Wake Forest store and was under the impression the Westgate group was pretty military and veteran friendly. I certainly won't make that mistake again and I would urge others to seriously consider other dealerships. I do want to give a shout out to the salesman Hamza because he's been pretty responsive.
