We are sorry this customer had a less than positive experience. However, to say we are not respectful to customers out of bounds. If that were the case, it is reasonable to expect that our overall dealer rating would be very low. Unfortunately, this customer simply did not get the price he wanted. Here are the facts, we offered the customer a deal that beat a competitor dealer by $290. Overall, our final offer was $893 below our cost. Upon our final offer, the customer decided to seek further negotiations and we simply declined to sell the vehicle. For the record, we employ a number of veterans who were very surprised and embarrsed to see such a conscious effort to leverage a purchase and a negative review through misuse of the uniform. For the record, we respect all people be they civilian or not. To bring us to task… suggesting discriminatory practice is in itself disrespectful and simply not true. In fact, we are one of a handful of Chrysler dealers that offer courtesy deliveries for the military. While in active service overseas, military personnel often purchase through the military and though we have not sold the vehicle, and have made no profit, we take delivery of the vehicles sometimes storing them for more than six months, at no charge, until the member of our armed forces returns. At that time we prepare the vehicle and deliver it to the returning veteran. In addition, we are a USAA preferred dealer that consistently sells vehicles to active members of the Military, as well as veterans. We are proud of the service we provide and we respect the service provided by all members of our armed forces.
