I purchased car from Westway Ford over 2 weeks ago. 11/04/2023 traded my car in so I have no transportation. Doing test drive with Salesman I noticed slight noise coming from rear end of car. I bought this to Salesman attention He said no worries all cars go through 172 point safety check inspection and that he trusts hie mechanics judgment. After being at dealership all day trying for good, I purchased car during my 100 mile drive back home i noticed noise in rear end got very loud i had to pull over. I couldn't figure what issue was. Monday morning 11/06/2024 I took car to a well reputable certified auto mechanic shop in Tyler Texas. Only to find out rear Differential was no good and rear shocks was leaking fluid and no good. $4000 cost to replace. Mechanic informed me I need to park car ASAP and don't drive until repaired because of severe safety hazards. Even he was appalled that a dealership like Westway Ford didn't catch this and sold it in this condition. I contacted Westway Ford that evening spoke with salesman that sold me car. He said bought car as is and besides I had purchased aftermarket Warranty to let them pay for it. I disagreed said they would not fall for that and it wouldn't be right, told besides Westway Ford states on their website that all pre owned vehicles comes with a 3 month or 3000 mile Power Train Warranty. Differential is part of power train. We went back and forth until he hung up phone on me. I tried calling back he wouldn't speak to me and no else would either. I asked for for General Manager name and number they wouldn't give it to me said they would have him to call me. I never received a call. I then contacted Managing company Berkshire Hathaway informed them of situation. The lady was nice said she would forward to General Manager. Still no response from him or dealership. I finally got a response from arrogant used car manger. Basically said bring it back they will look at no guarantee they will pay for repairs. Told him car was unsafe to drive 100 miles back and that i couldn't afford to pay for a tow truck that he refused to pay for. I then asked about a loaner car he said non was available and that if i wanted them to check car out its my responsibility to get it back to them. I said really he responded really. I don't have any transportation a car sitting iny garage I can't drive or afford to repair. All I want is for Westway Ford to do is make this right and repair my car ASAP.

Well i need my vehicle repaired from the damages that were caused during the repair of my flexplate recall. Glove box completely broken, something has come apart underneath the front of my vehicle just hanging down. I heve used zip ties to hold it on for now. This is unacceptable. The service I received at Westway Ford. Not happy. I'm a senior citizen, black female are these the reasons why I've been treated so poorly?😪
