Mr. Brown. I came in today like, as I promised to. To drop off the new truck that Westway could not secure financing for. I was told by Spencer that when I brought in the vehicle that I would be refunded my $500 deposit. However, reading this review on this website, he informed me that "There was an issue" He did not like the criticism that I gave. He implied that because of this criticism, he was only going to give me a partial refund unless I removed my criticism from this website. When I protested and made him aware that I would seek out a lawyer, he told me our conversation was done and he could no longer talk to me and said that I needed to talk to Westway's lawyer. He then lead me directly to a Mr. Kyle Wood, Mr. Daemon ?, and Mr. Joey ? (from financing). These three gentleman were great. They sat with me to discuss my options. They assured me that they wanted my business and put me in contact with Mr. Hernandez in your Preowned division. Mr. Woods also offered to refund my entire $500 if Westway could not get me into a preowned truck. Mr Hernandez work feverishly to help but was unable to secure financing due to my limited available funds for a larger deposit. I then went back to talk to Mr. Woods who had already left for lunch. Mr. Daemon was more than happy to live up to the agreement that Mr. Woods and I agreed upon, where as to provide me a full refund of my deposit if we could not work something out. Daemon stated that he would have the funds transferred back to the debit card that I used to make the deposit payment. He stated that I should received the funds no later than tomorrow (Friday 2/11/11). I appreciate the level of professionalism that Daemon, Joey and Kyle provided. They did their best to salvage a bad experience that I first had with Westway into a more favorable impression that I now have of Westway. On a side note. As I mentioned in my first post that a company's character goes a long way with the public. Although Kyle, Daemon and Joey worked their tell off to salvage my experience with Westway Ford, I still have a bad taste in my mouth from Spencer who tried to hold my refund until I removed the criticism of my first post. I do thank you very much in trying to assist me in financing a new truck. This, I will remember and pass along to the public. I hope that in the future that if I decided to come back to Westway Ford we will be able to work together to secure me a vehicle from Westway Ford. Thank you for your time. Fred Hall
