The service staff was able to fit me in for an oil change and tire rotation on short notice, and had the car ready exactly when they said it would be. The service was great. I brought my car (found a parking place easily). When I had an Expedition (ten years ago or so) I used to have a hard time finding parking. I would like to thank Jeff for his assistance with the issues with my Edge. We are alittle confused on the diagnosis of the rotors because we have only owned the car less than a year and would have thoug issues with my Edge. We are alittle confused on the diagnosis of the rotors because we have only owned the car less than a year and would have thought that the rotors would have been checked prior to sale. I went to Whaling City Ford after a really bad experience at another local dealership. WC was recommended to me by several people, so I decided to try them out. Before I went there, I called and spoke with at another local dealership. WC was recommended to me by several people, so I decided to try them out. Before I went there, I called and spoke with Art who answered all of my questions without any BS. So I went down there and asked for Art. There was a gentleman who greeted me right away, and when I said I was there to speak to Art, he came walking around the corner immediately and introduced himself in person. I told him what I wanted to look at, and instead of bringing me to 10 cars I had no interest in, he brought me right to the vehicle I inquired about. It was while I was test-driving this vehicle that he recommended another one which was the same price, less mileage, newer, and fresh on the lot (literally, we went into the workshop to see it as it was being detailed). He arranged a test drive for me, and based on his recommendation and honesty, I agreed to buy. He made the financing process very simple, and ushered me through it, as that aspect of the process can be rather stressful. In just over an hour, we secured financing, signed all the documents, and set a date for pick up. The finance officer who helped me close on the vehicle didn't try to BS me at all. He actually ASKED ME if I WANTED certain extras, and when I said I didn't really want them, he didn't feed me a line of nonsense. I cannot recommend Whaling City enough. These guys are true professionals, and they have an amazing sense of hospitality. You tell them what you want, and they make it happen. They take 90% of the stress out of buying. Art is a real stand-up guy. He'll take good care of you, and he's completely honest. Basically, by the end of an hour, he: a) arranged the pickup of my broken down vehicle and threw me a small trade in bonus b) secured financing and arranged my insurance coverage c) sold me the vehicle I wanted, AND kept me at the price point I was aiming for Bonus Points: He was in the room as I was filling out the paperwork. As most of you know, a lot of salesmen don't do this. So all in all, WC Ford is the place to buy a car in Southeastern CT. You won't regret it. More
