We are a retired couple who until one week ago had two more than 10 year old vehicles in our garage. In other words, it is a BIG deal when we go to buy a car. However, before we made a final decision we made the rounds of many dealerships looking at options and alternatives. Although Whitaker Buick is not in our neighborhood we had heard through a friend that we would be "treated right" there so we made a late Saturday afternoon visit to the showroom. We were introduced to Chris Novak and immediately felt a great connection. He has an amazing gift of engaging with customers and listening to their needs and concerns. His knowledge of the vehicles he sells is very comforting to those like us who know little about the automotive world. At no time did we feel rushed, or pushed, or controlled. Instead we felt confident that we wanted to buy a car and that we wanted to buy it from him. His patience in explaining the many features of this state of the art car to two technically illiterate people should serve as a model to all in the sales game. The Buick Enclave sells itself, but customers want to know that they will be supported after a sale and that they will be welcomed back if they have problems or questions. Chris embodies all of that in his approach to sales. We both grew up in small towns where our dads bought cars from guys they knew. In spite of the fact that this is a much bigger community, that is the feeling one gets in their Whitaker experience. How comforting and how refreshing!
