My buying experience was great and love my Outback, however….I’ve had my Outback for 12 months. I have driven my Outback to this dealer where I purchased my Outback for all but 1 of my oil changes so t however….I’ve had my Outback for 12 months. I have driven my Outback to this dealer where I purchased my Outback for all but 1 of my oil changes so they could make sure my car was running in top-notch condition. I brought my Outback in for the usual oil change on July 18th and added a tire rotation. On Aug 26th, I noticed my tire pressure was low on one of the tires and when we looked at the tire looking for the leak, we noticed that the wear on the tires was abnormal and wanted the dealer to take a look at the leak and the rest of the tires since we were concerned. At our Aug 29th appointment, we learned that we needed to replace the one tire that had the leak (I can understand this given where the hole was), but ALSO the other 3 tires since the tires were all bad and all needed replacing at 23,000 miles. Apparently the alignment was out of spec and the tires were unevenly worn. I was shocked since I had just brought my Outback for an oil change and tire rotation in July and was not told that my tires were not properly aligned or at the very least, told that the tires were very worn….. since they did a tire rotation!?!!!! Disappointed and certainly not taking my car back for an oil change since they apparently don’t do their “checks” during the oil changes like I thought was supposed to happen. The 3 worn tires were not covered under our Subaru warranty that need replacing at 23,000 miles and the dealership did not offer anything or even apologize for missing the worn tires. More
