I found the customer service in the Service Center very poor. They didn't seem to care, didn't remember I had made an appointment, didn't care that I had to drive for 2 hours to get there, didn't express a poor. They didn't seem to care, didn't remember I had made an appointment, didn't care that I had to drive for 2 hours to get there, didn't express any concern for the status of my car's problem - a problem which even Toyota shook its head over. One part was available - in Boston and when I called to check 24 hours later they STILL didn't know if it would be available. No loaner car. All in all, I was in quite a fix and they could have cared less. A magic sentence would have cured so much, "Gosh, it sounds like you're in a fix. Come down this afternoon at X o'clock and lets see how we can help you." Service at this dealership is not what is was. I have owned 8 Toyotas, 7 of them purchased from this dealer. I am looking at other brands now. More
Our family has been going to White River Toyota for ages, dealing with Carl Hard and now with Eric Hard and the excellent service team. Bought quite a few cars over the years. All have been good experience dealing with Carl Hard and now with Eric Hard and the excellent service team. Bought quite a few cars over the years. All have been good experiences. The last servicing I was just about to drive out when I realized that I had not mentioned that my center console drink holder was wedged shut apparently by a credit card that somehow got stuck. Not a big deal but I really missed using the space. Literally as I was ready to drive out, I mentioned the problem to Dan. He did not say, "You will need to get that taken care of the next time you come in" nor did he blow me off as a non-problem but immediately got someone from the tech area who had to dismantle my whole gear shift and work quite doggedly to get it all torn apart and put back together. Was not charged for this service. So like the others, WRT is truly all about the customer. It is often the little things that really make the difference in choosing a dealership. More
Pete Stoddard’s White River Toyota has again raised the bar for absolute excellence in service. My wife’s car had electrical problems, and when I called to make an appointment, they said to bring it in imm bar for absolute excellence in service. My wife’s car had electrical problems, and when I called to make an appointment, they said to bring it in immediately. Pete met us personally, made sure Eric Hard (who has looked after our service needs for 20 years) was involved, and even got TJ, the incredible expert they turn to with the most impossible puzzles, to head the team that would diagnose and fix the vehicle. Despite coming in at the end of the day, there was no sense of rush, only one of concern for us – they even asked if we needed a loaner vehicle! White River’s motto of “People come first” is not only believed, it is firmly followed. Customers are treated like family at this unique dealership and we cannot recommend it highly enough. More

Hooray, a car dealership that actually provides service with their sales pitch. I'm glad I own a Toyota, as I wouldn't have met them if it had been another make. I really like the up front customer servi with their sales pitch. I'm glad I own a Toyota, as I wouldn't have met them if it had been another make. Michael was very thorough, explaining everything that my car would need at 150,000 miles. White River Toyota is remarkably free of the antics I have seen when I have had my car serviced elsewhere. Nobody tr car would need at 150,000 miles. White River Toyota is remarkably free of the antics I have seen when I have had my car serviced elsewhere. Nobody tried to convince me that I needed a timing belt, the actual cost was close to the quote, and the car runs significantly better now. More
