Horrible service I have been going into Wickstrom Jeep for service, ever since I purchased my vehicle. They were great till now. One day, I was hearing a noise un I have been going into Wickstrom Jeep for service, ever since I purchased my vehicle. They were great till now. One day, I was hearing a noise under my vehicle when braking or turning. I took the vehicle into service, and they found a bent bracket underneath the vehicle. It was very clear that this was bent because of a improper lifting procedure from previous service... the bend was extremely close to the jack point of the vehicle. (Keep in mind, Wickstrom jeep is the only place I took the vehicle for repairs since purchasing the car). I spoke to the service manager, and they refused to take any sort of liability for the damage. Even with proof of service at their faculty, every 4-5k miles. They just kept saying their lift wouldn't damage this vehicle. (How else could this happen if they are the only ones to touch the vehicle ?) I would recommend staying away from this dealership's service department at all costs. They will not accept liability for damages they have done to a vehicle. More

Kid Friendly! I had purchased my Jeep from Wickstrom, and have been very happy with it. I usually never go back to the dealer for any maintenance, but it was conven I had purchased my Jeep from Wickstrom, and have been very happy with it. I usually never go back to the dealer for any maintenance, but it was convenient so decided to give them a try. I was very surprised, the waiting area was not only super clean, but was extremely kid friendly! I usually dread bringing my child with me to run such errands, but Wickstrom made it is! They have an individual area for the kids, a tv, a nice table, and plenty of games for them to play with! Service was super speedy, and was not over priced at all! I will definitely be going back from now on for all my service needs! Bravo Wickstrom! More

This vehicle, purchased new came with a l I have been taking my 2008 jeep liberty limited to Wickstrom's jeep dealership in Barrington IL, since 2010. This vehicle, purchased new came with a life time power train warranty. I also purchase Chrysler added care lifetime bumper to bumper extended warranty. This dealership has done all the scheduled maintenance and repairs on a regular basis since I started bringing it to them. They have never had a problem letting me know what maintenance was due, especially when I had to pay for it. I have never refused to have service or suggested repairs done by them. Recently my vehicle was brought in for some minor repairs that I thought should have been covered by my extended warranty. They told me nothing was covered. I called Chrysler's warranty division to question why. They informed me that my warranty was voided do to a 5 year power train inspection that was never done. When I question how I was suppose to know about this inspection, they informed me that they should have sent me a notice 2 months prior. I never received a notice. They also told me the dealer should have informed me also. They did not. Why is it that all other services that would be paid out of my pocket were brought to my attention? After confronting the service rep on my problem all they had to say was they had heard of this happening before and apologized. If they had knowledge of this, you would think they would let people know. I have been loyal to this dealership from day one, but I guess loyalty is a one way street. In the end I was told by Chrysler that I signed the contract so it’s my fault. Seems to me if every car purchased required reading every word printed on all the papers they provide at the time of sales, people would spend a week reviewing them all with their lawyer present and cars would not be sold. We all buy in good faith when making these types of purchase. I guess that’s where mistakes get made. Enjoy your experience with them while it lasts. More

The Ford service dept is excellent. Mike Murphy has taken great care of me over the years and I now service all of my personal and work vehicles with them, even our Chevy. Mike's ability to go well above exp great care of me over the years and I now service all of my personal and work vehicles with them, even our Chevy. Mike's ability to go well above expectations and the fact that he treats me like I have a fleet of 50 vehicles to service sealed the deal for me. I mostly appeciate the fact that I get that small town feel when I pull up and Mike knows me by name. I am now a lifelong customer even though another Ford dealer is more convenient all because of the great customer service by Mike and the other service staff. More
