Awful customer service Worst experience trying to buy a car. Had a deposit to hold as I was traveling and couldn't come in right away. I wanted all the finance questions an Worst experience trying to buy a car. Had a deposit to hold as I was traveling and couldn't come in right away. I wanted all the finance questions and negotiations to happen via Email so that I could just come in sign and drive. I had to email multiple times to try to put me in connection with the finance manager. After talking to the finance manager I was then informed that I could either get the cash back or the 0%. Sales rep proceeded to then yell at me that it's my fault for not understanding and how could I just put down a deposit for 2 weeks without any intention of buying. I had every intention of buying and I had every intention of trying to figure out a fair deal until he yelled at me. Oh and the best part is they ran my credit 2 days after I asked for my deposit back. By far worst customer service experience I have ever had. Ended up buying from Continental in Naperville, for a better price on the car anyway. Don't waste your time with them. More

Best and easiest car buying experience I’ve ever had Last Saturday I went to meet with Ed Chwal regarding the end of my 3-year lease in April on my Mazda CX-5. Ed had contacted me early in 2019 and I was Last Saturday I went to meet with Ed Chwal regarding the end of my 3-year lease in April on my Mazda CX-5. Ed had contacted me early in 2019 and I was initially slow to respond then I made a couple of appointments to meet with him but due to other obligations I had to cancel. He stayed in touch but never pushed me to come in. When I got in last week, I told him that I probably wanted to lease again, but a CX-3 instead of the 5. He immediately found me the perfect car - package and color I wanted and we took a test drive. The test drive was very pleasant. As with another review I just read, Ed was personable, funny and relaxed. He answered questions about the car but there was never a tense moment of him pressuring me to go with the bigger model or even to buy the one we were in. When we got back I was certain it was the car for me. He quickly got the numbers together and we agreed on a lease price. I am not an impatient person but because I am a quick decision maker I was eager to get on with my day. Ed made the process go as quickly as he could. He checked in with me to tell me where I was in the financing process/line, but he never hovered over me. He was efficient, helpful and friendly. This is my 5th Mazda. I have purchased two and leased three over the last 30 years. This was honestly the best experience I’ve ever had in a car dealership. Easy and as enjoyable as purchasing or leasing a car can be. I will recommend Ed to anyone needing a car. And as I have for the last 30 years I will be telling people how much I love my Mazda! Zoom-zoom!! More

Not only did I receive it I came to Wilkins to purchase the CX-5. I had been looking into this car for some time and requested the price quote online. Not only did I receive it very quickly, but I wasn’t bombarded with phone calls immediately (as I was with some of the other dealerships I was working with). Ed took me for a test drive and was very informative and friendly. I never felt any pressure to make an immediate decision. He was knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. After deciding to purchase, he thoroughly explained the different options and costs and helped with the trade in process. I’ve purchased cars before and have never had as good an experience as I did with Ed. It was very apparent that his knowledge of the industry is of the highest quality. To top it off, his personality made the process painless and even a little fun! More

Told him a couple ones I found online and he was right on to it finding them and getting the keys for a test drive. Very good person to have as a Salesman, explained everything very well and I left in a nice used Mazda 3 at a real good price. The finance department was great and we were only there for about 2 and half hours. Just wish the dealership was a little close so I could drop in sometime for maybe a oil change and a good cup of that coffee they had. But who knows we go to Chicago on occasion so maybe we will do that sometime. More
