My wife turned her GMC Acadia in for service on Friday, 1/2 as she had received an email stating that the battery was failing and to bring it in to be checked. When she turned it in it was not missing the 1/2 as she had received an email stating that the battery was failing and to bring it in to be checked. When she turned it in it was not missing the display cap over the selector knob. It would have been readily apparent if it was missing as you can see bright light coming from it with the cap missing. When she picked the car up she noted the bright light and therefore that the cap was gone. If it fell off by itself it would have been in the interior of the vehicle and upon a search it is not. Therefore we believe that someone removed the cap sometime while the vehicle was in the possession of Williamson. Although the interior was not being worked on someone could have deliberately removed it while moving the vehicle about. We are requesting that Williamson accept responsibility for the loss and effect replacement. Please advise what Williamson is going to do to make this right. More
