My wife and I visited Wilsonville Toyota because of a used Prius they had in stock. We had been watching the car for over a month; the price started off fairly high (over Kelly Blue Book retail value), used Prius they had in stock. We had been watching the car for over a month; the price started off fairly high (over Kelly Blue Book retail value), but dropped every week or so. Eventually the price fell within our desired range, roughly equal to the KBB private party 'excellent' price. My wife went to look at the vehicle for the first time, alone. Daniel showed her the car and allowed her to not only test drive it, but take it home for the day. Checking a vehicle out for the day is very simple; sign a very short document agreeing to be responsible for damages, provide a copy of your driver's license and insurance, that's it. We weren't able to return the vehicle before the dealership closed, but Daniel didn't mind extending the check out period to the next day. The following day we returned at 8:30am, when the dealership opened. Daniel greeted us upon arrival. This was my first time seeing the dealership and meeting Daniel. I was impressed: they have a huge inventory of new and used vehicles, the facility is well maintained, and the show room/service department are comfortably decorated. We had already decided to purchase the Prius, so he headed directly to a sales desk. The purchasing process went smoothly, but wasn't as streamlined as it should have been. The overall process took about two hours. There were no surprises when it came to a dollar figure; the 'out the door' price was simply the sticker price plus $261 for new license plates, vehicle registration and filing fees. What became very frustrating was the fact that despite paying with cash, we had to fill out a credit application and then sign multiple documents saying that Wilsonville Toyota could give our non-public information to affiliated and non-affiliated companies. Daniel claimed the credit application was so that they could run government-required background checks; I have my doubts. Nonetheless, we were able to get a manager to cross out a few lines on some documents, limiting what information they could share. I required copies of all paperwork we signed in case this becomes an issue in the future. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, the only issue we noted was that the steering wheel was not perfectly centered. Daniel had a free alignment performed while we signed paperwork; sure enough, when we left the lot, the steering wheel was perfectly centered. Thank you, Daniel! Many of you may have heard the Wilsonville Toyota slogan: "No Bull!" This simply means they will not negotiate on price; they claim it's because they have the best prices in the area. As far as I can tell, they truly will not negotiate. I didn't bother trying, as the price was already a great deal. However, if you do see a car you like on their lot and can prove that it is overpriced, by all means bring some proof (other cars currently for sale) and give it a shot! Overall, Wilsonville Toyota has been the most laid back buying experience I've had (this will be car #7 in 10 years). I would suggest visiting them, if nothing else just to compare their sales tactics to other dealerships. More
We made 3 trips to Wilsonville Toyota looking, pricing, and asking questions trying to decide what we wanted. Our salesperson, Ellie Treinen was great, very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. There was and asking questions trying to decide what we wanted. Our salesperson, Ellie Treinen was great, very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. There was no pressure, and we called Ellie when we'd made a decision. We felt we were given a fair price on the 2000 Camry we traded in, and she found us exactly what we wanted, made arrangements to get it from another dealership, and even delivered the car to us. We felt well taken care of and feel she went above and beyond. We really liked dealing with one person through the transaction, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ellie and Wilsonville Toyota. We liked having a set price and not having to negotiate or be handed from person to person. This was the best car purchasing experience we've ever had. More
We purchased a new 2010 Prius over the weekend and can not say enough about the outstanding service that we received from our sales person Ellie Treinen. She is a pleasure to work with. There was never not say enough about the outstanding service that we received from our sales person Ellie Treinen. She is a pleasure to work with. There was never any pressure and she totally knows everything about the cars that she is selling. We really appreciated the friendly, professional, knowledgeable and upbeat attitude that she has. Just dealing with one person from the beginning to the end of a purchase totally makes you relaxed. I would definitely recommend Wilsonville Toyota- Scion. If you go there ask for Ellie you wont be disappointed. More

My experience with Wilsonville Toyota has been very memorable. It's absolutely true as they advertise. I only had to deal with one person from start to finish. They renewed my faith in dealing with car salesmen. I think that most of us have been there done that where we felt like we were going through open heart surgery with other dealerships. You have to deal with sometimes a half dozen people and then negotiate back and forth until you are almost ready to check into the "Betty Ford Clinic". Not at Wilsonville Toyota... i was in and out in about one hour.. In fact, I was so impressed, I purchased not one, but TWO Camry Hybrids. This is all about relationships and feeling comfortable with the people that you are doing business with.. whether you are buying a car, house or furniture. It's the "NO BULL" approach that is important. They have serviced my cars usually on within my busy schedule. I have actually experienced 62.5 miles per gallon on one of my Camry's (no I was not driving down hill) and still have it documented on my console screen. It is reliable and I have yet to have any problem. When I get ready to purchase another one, I know that I will return to Wilsonville Toyota. More
We had a great experience at Wilsonville Toyota-Scion from start to finish. After seeing a car we were interested in on their website, we called ahead and spoke with Ellie Treinen. This dealership definitely lives up to its advertisement of "no bull", and I am happy to give it and Ellie a high recommendation - we will certainly be back the next time we are in the market for a car. Over the years, I've grown to loathe car salesmen & the whole car buying experience. From the moment we stopped at the lot to have my husband "sit" in some SUV's to see what model would be comfortable for whole car buying experience. From the moment we stopped at the lot to have my husband "sit" in some SUV's to see what model would be comfortable for a 6'5" man, we were impressed by Nate Powlison. Few salespeople are willing to open up car after car to allow the customers to just "sit" in them, especially after stating upfront that they aren't going to consider buying for at least 4 months. Nate was friendly & really interested in "us" as a couple first & as "buyers" second. He went the extra mile to check on a car that had just come in but wasn't ready for viewing. After we left, my husband and I spoke at length about how Nate had changed our minds about dealing with a car lot. We also liked the "no bull" policy. I'd been checking on line for several weeks & Wilsonville Toyota consistantly had the best prices & the largest # of "certified" used cars. I like that the VIN # & car fax were also available in the ads. That was on 5/29......I was back on 6/2 for a test drive. Needless to say I bought the car that night. Nate was accommodating in waiting until after 7:00 for me to come out. He worked up the trade-in form for our Expedition & Jake came back with a figure - sight unseen and we proceeded with the paperwork. Obviously, that took us well beyond the dealership's closing time but there was never any pressure. I signed that night & brought my husband back Sat so sign & dropoff our trade in. It was all so smooth and efficient....and we were given a full tank of gas! We came back because of Nate, the price & the "no bull" policy. We've recommended Nate to several people. The best way to put it is this: Nate is there to help you "buy" a car, not "sell" you a car & in this day & age, that's totally refreshing. More

BUT When I got home and went over my paperwork once more, I realized that I got an even better price than I thought...I ran the numbers through True Car (a great resource) and the price I paid was LOWER than the published certified lowest price from 2 other local dealers.... Needless to say, I was elated. More
After monkeying around with another dealer and getting fed up with the idiocrasy of the finance manager trying to rob us blind, we took a trip out to Wilsonville Toyota to look at a used vehicle we had se fed up with the idiocrasy of the finance manager trying to rob us blind, we took a trip out to Wilsonville Toyota to look at a used vehicle we had seen online. I was a bit sceptical about the introduction from the sales group because I know most dealerships build in levels of the sale to different personnel (including closers, internet managers, finance managers, sales managers, floor managers, general managers, and so on), so the reality of having to deal with just one guy seemed like a lure. I have many battle wounds from dinking around with car dealerships, so it didn't phase me as being important because I came prepared to endure battle after battle and was ready to "slay" each level of sales a dealership could put in front of me. And so the sale began.... Our sales guy (Don) wasn't your typical "suit & tie" car salesman so I initially expected that to be a lure as well. The "I'm just a regular guy like you" routine. But it wasn't. He actually offered us some real advice based on what I'm assuming was real experience. For example, he told us how darker colored paints tend to age faster because they make smaller chips and scratches look bigger and more noticable. Without being negative or offensive, he just told it to us as a word of precaution. Even though it is common sense knowledge and we tried our best to keep the emotional color factor out of our purchasing decision, we were still basing a good deal of our selection on color, so Don's practical wake up call was greatly appreciated. In short order we chose the vehicle we wanted. The price was good in relation to our budget (which we never shared or was asked for by Don), as well as market value, so the NO BULL pricing policy seemed to hold true for us. Begin the paperwork proces...sales stage II.... Like any educated buyer these days, I came prepared with a spreadsheet that calculated estimated monthly payments after entering in all the buying variables (rate, loan length, sales price, tax, dealer/doc fees, trade-in value, down payment, etc.). I entered in my values and covertly showed them to my wife. Don saw me do it, but never asked to see what I was putting in. He was absolutely confident that our numbers would match - AND THEY DID! So by now, I was starting to enjoy this sale. NO BULL was holding true, there was absolutely no pressure to make a deal, and lo and behold, Don was the only guy we had to work with! All our numbers matched up and everything was on track. He showed us all the insurance and extended warranty options and gracefully let us decline on all accounts. Even though we had to decline it three times, we understood that he was just doing his job and that he believed in the value of the services he was trying to sell us. Act III: the dreaded Finance Manager.... When we had worked through all the details of the deal and confirmed everything including our loan approval process, we braced ourselves for what I call "the idiot introduction" where we get handed off the traditional finance manager so he can hard sell us all the services we had just declined three times. Ugggggh! HOWEVER...Don did it ALL!!! He really was the ONLY person we dealt with throughout the entire course of the transaction. So, while it wasn't initally important to me since I doubted it was going to be true anyway, the fact that we only had one person to work with became the best part of our buying experience with Wilsonville Toyota! The only area I'd improve would be if they put printers on each of the sales desks to help speed up the process. Also, it would be great if we could have chosen the "quick check out" lane once we had decided we wanted the vehicle. The processing of the papers really took too long (4 hours that seemed like 10 after we drove away). While the overall experience was a good one, it just took waaaaay too long! More
